Self-moderated Topics?

Yes I think as you Dear @kryptonick is not a good idea the self-moderation! There are the moderators who do their job, is possible are not sufficient, so I agree if they will ask some specialist here to be extra moderator but they shouldn't participate in writing topic or post here, their job is cleaning the forum from spammers. Of course they need to be rewarded to do that.

@tienda you know I see many members who act like moderator but they aren't in real yes we are the part of this forum we will help other here who need help we will find scammers because that is our duty now if we want to be safe from spammer here we are not moderator but we will report the spammers to moderator we can do that..

Actually theres no need to this as admins and moderators are really active on the forum and they only sometimes take a break but usually active to keep the cryptotalk community as nice as possible, so you didn't need to worry about that.

This feature is likely not be added in the forum as there would be the users who will misuse it against other users as happened with the new rating system.

I don't think the criticism is bad, because constructive criticism can help to improve. As a member said here in the comments, the member with that power, he can use it to his advantage and in the wrong way and we don't need it here on the forum. What we need is good members and good content, respect for the forum and the members so that everyone wins.

This is really a good idea but some people might not really know the difference if a post is spam or not. Also most people might abuse this feature in deleting posts that are not supposed to be deleted. I think as the moderators are controlling the posts is really good

Certainly, if one of the project owners wants to manage its post, he must have this right after prior agreement with the administration. As for spam, it is caused by beginners who seek to profit quickly without reading the rules. We have to report bad posts to maintain a good forum.

I do not think it is good idea to have self moderated because admin and moderator do their best to monitor us and see who did violation. If we have the chance of deleting other's post if will be bias who deleted it  intentionally. And it is also unfair for them.

I agree with you, but also I don't think it's difficult to report comments, moderators formally delete them, and they can punish members who wrote spam.

We have many members who tend to be making spam posts in any section they visit and for that reason i think it is a good suggestion the administration give a topic creator right to report and delete any spam post any spammer make in there topic so as to reduce the number of useless posts in the forum at large because spammers are not ready to help themselves talkmore of other members.

Yes oxygen99 I thought about that too and this this kind of suggestion will not only help the moderators in keeping their sites clean of the spammers but it will also help them lower the stress of checking on spammers knowing they will be delete and will get their report about them. I like the idea it's a good one

I do not think that it is useful because you are posting on a large platform and everyone can see your post, as there are some fraudulent members who will post your comments that do not suit them, but for the creative people you talk about, they can talk to the forum administration and display their project and then they store these permissions.

I strongly support this motion my friend and we shouldn't hesitate to report anyone that violate the forums rules and regulations because it by that we can help the moderators accomplish there task in the forum. The moderators are tirelessly working for us so let give them a helping hand.

@Oxygen99...You are right brother.  We must be vocal against spammers.  We will report any member who violates the rules of the forum as soon as we see them.  This will make the work of moderators easier.  Moderators do a lot for us.  So we also need to work to keep this forum going

It brought to my knowing that if self moderated topic can be created by everyone then whose table does that pass, because moderated I know it most pass through several faces for them to be satisfied with the topic, before it should be created before drawing much views and comments.

I don't have much idea but for me I think it will be good for me to delete any post that is against the rules of this platform and reported or give a bad reputation to any one who posted useless comments.

Most of the topics and posts are not rated fairly so it causes bad morals in some members and key members are leaving the platform due to this reason. Moderators are increasing the scope of their work and already doing their work effectively. But self moderated topics are also needed. Though it could cause a bad reputation to the platform but it is necessary because moderators can not keep an eye on all the topics all the time.

Self-supervision can be a positive point for the author of the post, but at the same time it may create a kind of chaos in the forum. I think that the idea should be canceled.

I think this is a really great idea! But I also noticed the fact that users can't delete their message, because the delete button was removed, and now it can only be done through the report. Therefore, this system is a bit intimidating, and we would really like to optimize the functionality. Thanks!

There are many novice people who present useless topics and questions, but fortunately moderators constantly clean the forum from these topics and delete them, so it is our duty if we find such topics useless we must report them so that the moderators delete them

If the moderators decide to employ a member to moderate spamming post and low quality post the best member that can handle this, is a member that have stayed long in the forum and such person have been creating good post in the forum and has a high rank.
