280 Million XRP Moved from PlusToken wallets!

Plus Token was a major Ponzi scheme that collapsed last summer after exploiting hundreds of thousands of people, mostly in China and Southeast Asia, and collecting close to 3Billion USD in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies.

It is Plus-Token that was responsible for Bitcoin's price secondary bear market that began in August 2019, right when their scam operations officially shut-down and lower members of plus token were arrested by Chinese authorities in the island of Vanuatu!

 

Twitter account @whale_alert yesterday published two huge XRP transactions which amounted for 150m and 134,7m XRP. (in USD terms a total of 54million).

These transactions were coming from wallets that are owned by PlusToken according to bithomp and u.today.

 

According to reports Plus-Token had collected around 190,000BTC, 800,000 ETH and 62m EOS among other cryptocurrencies! It seems that right now they may have dumped all their BTC but not their ETH or other coins they hold. So Plus-Token has XRP on the move now and it can be expected for the price to have difficult times ahead.

That's crazy to see the insane amount of cryptocurrencies stolen. I highly hate all of the scams and Ponzi schemes, but cryptocurrencies are made to be private and there's nothing that could be done for preventing anyone from working with cryptocurrencies. I already read a few articles about that plus token and it's a highly profitable bussiness for them.

Terrible and clearly , I think upcoming dump for Bitcoin is again coming no matter it was recently happened or not ! It is not hard to guess why that much amounts in XRP is moved. That much amounts were stolen from users all around this world, who is punishing these scammers ?

It seems that the Chinese authorities have located one of the leaders of this scam and have him on custody. But many more are missing since they keep moving the funds and selling on exchanges.

One thing is, I always try as much as possible to avoid all these Ponzi and HYIP schemes, they're not the best way to make cryptocurrency, they are scams in the end and there are other tens of legit ways. I hope they all got caught and made return all that they have stolen. But one thing is, as long as cryptans continues to look for quick unreal profits, such situations cannot be avoided.

Plus token done the same as bit connect done at the earliest 2018 because then bit connect is high value token more then 400$ also listed on big exchanges but they shut down their business activities and then these companies gone from market and we lost our money.

This is unfortunate because it causes a lot of negative effects on the ripple, and the amount that was transferred is a very large amount. As for the bronze scheme, since its inception it is very weak and did not have adequate safety measures.

This is bad news for cryptocurrencies especially for Ripples, and it negatively affects the prices of cryptocurrencies. It is clear from these large quantities of stolen currencies that it was a big fraud organized by a group of scammers, I hope that they are all arrested

I've just calculating that amount of XRP and its worth about $54 millions, and in previously hacking cases from other exchanges were estimated of $50+ millions, so I don't know how its been like this.

Sorry to say the investors who loss their money in this scam and fraud sites, 54$ million its not small amount and so many investors trust in crypto and invest in this ponzi schemes to earn money, but this type scams are not good crypto currencies because so many countries and peoples thinks crypto fake and scam, and this incidents indicates crypto really scam, so don't leave this scammers.

That's a huge amount of Xrp are stolen but how the hell the hacker and scammer stole that large amount and how have this amount in wallet so company owner must pay his money back because this wallet belong to him.

These were not hacked coins. Plus token was a ponzi and people were sending them cryptocurrencies as they thought it was a high yield opportunity. Being a ponzi scheme it collapsed and all team run with the money.

this type of projects is really leave a bad effect on Crypto market , we should need to detect them . recently a good project kingcasino also doing scam To it's user . we need active in market otherwise many spammer are ready to took our fund .

It's a shame these things happen as they don't do cryptocurrency's reputation as a worldwide alternative well. Hopefully the control options can be regularized so that more users join the different networks.

Indeed guys. All the money these scammers stolen, was from unspuspected individuals. Basically their victims were hundreds of thousands in all of South East Asia (China, South Korea, Vietnam etc.) They made close to 3Billion Dollars in cryptocurrencies. They had a fake wallet giving to the poor people some fake coin (Plus token) and in the beginning to lure people they were giving high returns. They had withdrawals too. When they become huge they collapsed as all ponzi's do.

XRP is a great coin and so many peoples think that it will cross the Bitcoin but this is not true becasue we know that Bitcoin is the king of the coins and these give us good profit if we trade on it but xrp is not move so much fast and it will not give us profit like the Bitcoin.

Ponzi schemes are fraud, I don't know how much or how loud we have to continue saying this. Watching the charts for years now on a daily basis. Bitcoin might dump, but the selling pressure has been lowered after the halving. I think that it can only go down bellow 8k if whales try to shake out new investors. Grayscale is also playing a huge role in this. The Bitcoins investors are buying through their services are locked for six months. And it seems there are many institutions buying a lot.

already many counties banned bitcoins... because they don't think it legal.... by hearing  this news...i have enough doubt about the upcoming dump of bitcoins...

 

 now many countries near about 150  counties use bitcoins.... by this i think they also will block the way to earn bitcoins....
