How much percent Airdrops are real?

Airdrops are used for a good reason, to increase the adoption of cryptocurrencies and spread them to many users. But some projects don't understand the benefits and they are not giving the coins to the rightful owners that did what they were told and boosted the social media, retweeted and given exposure to the project in the social media and investors.

I was actually also looking for this information myself, nowadays I come across a huge number of airdrops on a daily basis and sometimes I do invest some time doing the required tasks. Yet, most of them eventually end up being fake. Then, I decided to stop wasting my time with those airdrops and focusing in acquiring more knowledge by participating here in Cryptotalk, which in the end do reward users with some tokens.

In general, the risk of an ICO depends on the Exchange and the promoters of it, something similar happens with the Airdrops, although if we go to the statistics and take account of the amount of Airdrops that can be real because, I would say that maximum 10% of the offer

There are very few real airdrops at the moment, we're seeing a lot of failed ICO projects. For that I no longer participate in airdrops, I prefer cryptotalk campaigns. But if yobit announces an airdrop, I will follow it, because the airdrop at Yobit is definitely genuine.

Airdrops are real. In cryptocurrency, airdrops are used as a marketing strategy to promote their project and to create a hype in the market. It is also their way to distribute their tokens for the investors who are at the first place supports their project as well as to make the market more decentralized. However most of the airdrop coming from shitty ICOs' are more likely to scam. So I think near 10% of airdrops are real

I don't think airdrops are profitable these days. As far as I am concerned, I first entered the field cryptocurrencies from the airdrop campaigns and crypto bounties in telegram channels and twitter handles. Since, my starting days, airdrops used to be more legit and profitable, because there were just too few coins, and many new coins were yet to be emerged. In my experience, I have collected some big airdrops earlier like Hydro, Netkoin, Bomb, Energi, Uni and so on. These all were legit and of much worth, but these days I am not doing any of the airdrops because most of them are scams, and even if some are legit, they pay too less and is not worth doing after all. So, I just want to say, for your queries about 95% of airdrops in 2020 are fake, and the remaining 5% are paying, but are of much less worth, and you will give it up filling airdrops, since the earnings are too less for your valuable time and is not worth collecting after all.

I think mostly of airdrops are legit but the issue that's comes to those airdrops is how to complete their required tasks and get your earnings. so thats mostly of people are fail to complete tasks thats why they complaints thats airdrops are scammers.

I have know and started believing in cryptocurrency for sometime now, but the only legit airdrop I have seen some of my colleagues benefit from and happen to be real and not fake is the yobit DLRS airdrop , the rest airdrops I have engage in are all scam

80% of aidrop are scam and some pay and 20% of airdrop that pay 18% have almost no clear value if you do not send them money people do not lose anything just a few minutes of their time

Nowadays 95% of Airdrods are fake, only 0 to 5% are real. People have been scammed thier profits by joining fake Airdrods. Don't invest in any Airdrods now.

I do not usually join in airdrops because every time i joined, they are not true and it is just a waste of time dealing with this kind of earning money. They require you a lot of things to do then you need to wait for a long time before you can get your money and they will not pay you or reward you after all.

Do not be fooled by the huge number of airdrops of the new digital currencies, as most of them and a large percentage of them are a waste of time, and you must study the project and find out who established it to find out who is honest.

You can not judge all the airdrops at once, there are some legit one and there are too much scam airdops, so if you want to participate in airdrops, make sure to  read all the available information (whitepaper, project evolution, team skills...etc) but in general airdrops are not a suitable source of income

In my opinion the reality and fakeness for airdrops are between 5 to 10 % real and rest are fake. They gave yOu little profit which are so small. 

Mostly airdrops are waste of  time.Focus on something other which is profitable.

There have so many airdrops thats was given through yobit, and the biggest airdrops from yobit that I remember till today is the yodollar air drop people where earned up to 0.1 btc.

In my opinion most of the airdrops are real in terms of being legit but the value that they give is always not that much advantageous for the users. I have observed that sometimes even the transaction fees of the coin that is being given in the airdrop is more than the value of that coin provided in the airdrop

@mzk7736 For me, most of the airdrops are illegal and fraudulent, and their profit is minimal because they depend on the referrals that can be shared.

I have found that 100% of the Yobit airdrops are real in case someone here didn't know this or is a beginner, so I'm suggesting to always follow yobit announcements and be ready to help the Yobit exchange with promotional activities to earn some good airdrops. I missed Yoda which was months before I joined and Dice, but I got DLRS and easy which will be traded next month.

@saradz The term "fraudulent" can be used if they try to scam and enter your wallet or they don't give any token at all. In my opinion "useless" can be a more suitable term as they give the offered tokens but it have very little or no value at all. I mean some of coins or token are not even listed on any exchange.

Hello everyone, according to my experience 90% of the airdrops are scam, I have been able to participate in a large number of airdrops that unfortunately never paid and made me lose a lot of time, the other 10% of the airdrops do pay, but very little, surely with referrals you can pay a little more, I recommend you think and analyze very well, this type of alternative to obtain income.

Yeah, you are right. It's a pity i joined airdrop community a bit later. After exploring this sector, i was shocked that ETH was also airdropped long ago.
