I found this feature interesting on this site. I researched about quote and get some interesting fact about that. We can reply directly to the content writer. After that the person also reply us through it. And we get notification for that.

Quote is best to be used if you want the attention of the person that you are quoting. This way he gest a notify, if he has them enabled. I usually quote someone when I have a question about his comment, or when I really want his attention. Basically I'm rarely using it because it takes more space and if the post is too long then it won't really look good.

That's really good option when you are directing to the writer  directly and of you are talking in general to every one then quoting is not needed. this option is available to anyone and can directly quote to another member with good or bad mcomment too ..

Yes, it's very important to quote posts in order to the other person to receive a notification of reply. But most people don't care about that so they don't quote.

You can full control the notification panel and you can receive any thing you want !
So when someone reply on your topic you will get a notification about this !

The quote option is good to reply to a specific post, about the reply with post is for topic, so generally when we do the topic there are many who participate on our topic and some of them ask a question so for each you can answer them with quote direct to their post.

I think  you can get  notification  with out any one quoting  you. You should  on notification  on if some one  reply to your comments or posts. Then you can get notification.

It is really a good point I didn't know that the normal reply is not as  Quote that why no body is answering my questions until now we need to give this idea to more users here.

Every platform has same features with different and interesting names. In this forum site quote mean direct reply. Anyone can reply the post directly to the writer.
