I was wondering this. I don't think it's that much to slow down real comments because the longest I was asked to wait was 2 seconds. I was told that only 30 posts a day are allowed. I've had no warnings and my reputation is down as good. So I think 30 a day and a small gap in in between. But not fair for the competition if there are differences.

That will afford users the more time to be more constructive with their replies instead of burstposting to reach their daily quota of 30 posts within a few hours.

I will answer honestly I also want to earn 1000 and more, but every time I re-read the entire branch in order to write a good message. If honestly, to read all the posts on the topic clearly need more than one minute. Therefore, those who read the topic and the messages in it do not notice the limiter between the messages. This is my opinion and it may differ from yours 🙂

It's post reply.

I am assuring you coz I am the one who is suffering the most LOL

The duration is 120 seconds.

The post limit is only for up to Newbie rank. Since you are Jr. by now, you will not get it anymore.

Even you are a member now and now a newbie anymore you will still have the limit post per day!

They also implement the rules to anyone who are below 5 days in this forum! once the max contest is done i hope they will implement the 360 sec before posting again!

This is not a bad thing at all. We are writing the rules as we go,
and spammers will have much harder time in burst posting.

As I don't write every minute and second, it does not affect me at all

We are not talking about post limit per day, we are talking about the cool down period between two posts. So far I noticed it's 120 seconds for me. I am not sure how about other rank.

For a regular member 360 seconds seems very high. It can be implemented for Brand New account. I know your idea is coming from Bitcoin talk newbie restrictions.

yes this a new rule added to the forum which is delay between the posts, before there was no such rule, but today i am facing this issue that i should wait after posting one and after some time i can post another.

Fellas,

l7fkO5X.png

The time delay is 300 seconds now which is not looking good to me. 300 seconds means 5 minutes.

For a newbie account it might be good idea to prevent spams but for users who are members to prove them that they are not doing spamming for them it's a lot more time to waste. 120 seconds seemed okay to me.

What do you think?

This will be a good thing to add for your side! that will lessen the post in the forum.

THis is the steps that the admin wants to be added in this to stop spam and think on the post you will do.

not just quoting everyone or statin some fact. we have more time to do research and think!

This is not good for me and to those people who just came and wants to be on top 10 atleast!

But i do respect the admins decision!

I have experienced it earlier when i am about to reply to a topic and got this notification about intervals of post. although i am not the type of user who replies to a topic within a short period of time this will be a good thing here in this forum.

It's now 5 minutes delay. I could not update the original topic but here what I posted once I spotted it.

I would like to have others view too. By the way, I am not complaining but I am trying to figure out that is that a number we can hang on?

@epidemia can you please lock this topic mate? It has no use now. I have created another one with the new implementation since I can not edit the op with update.

Here is the new one:

New posts within a short time frame are limited. Please wait 193 seconds before submitting

New posts within a short time frame are limited. Please wait 125 seconds before submitting.

New posts within a short time frame are limited. Please wait 53 seconds before submitting.

New posts within a short time frame are limited. Please wait 10 seconds before submitting.

Arrrg the above happened while wait to post! 😊

Time is too slow LOL

Edit to add the success excitement: YES !!! Finally! LOL

I don't think your ranking in the forum will be affected after you add a time between each post
Because everyone suffers from the same limitation
I think this will be to your advantage
No one will reach you

Man I know that it will give me advantage but honestly speaking I am not thinking about me only. I am thinking about the users, the community. They comes first for me.

Another thing is, If I do not enjoy then I will become slow. This time delay is taking away the fun from me. So technically it's not okay for me LOL
