I investing all my money in 1 coin. is this is risky or safe ?

Recommended Posts

yes it is very risky if you invest all of your money in the 1 coin, dont put your all eggs in one basket, always try to buy different coins because one coin will increase and other will decrease so you will be safe.

It not good putting all egg in one basket, as a trader you have to spread your crypto asset in two coin or three, in which can give you hope of not  losing all your funds.

Don't invest your all income in 1 coin because its very risky work if those coin not pumped or not moved then you investment is in loss and if after investment you know your  invested coin is fake then what you can do

it's terrible if you invest in 1 coin but the coin goes to $ 0,

just look at NPXS, very sad

This is a risky thing to do. Because a coin is in the top 10 on Coinmarketcap today doesn't mean it will be there on the list tomorrow. If you follow the trends in crypto, you will the top 10 spots change every year or every two years. Though you didn't want to let out the project you invested in, but I wish you all the best with the investment.

TOP 10 DOESN'T MEAN A PROJECT IS GOOD TO INVEST IN

if its Bitcoin then ok but if its altcoin i would strongly disagree always diversify your portfolio to be on the safer side ,i know people who lost 70% of their money because  they invested into a shitcoin

Yes, investing in any Alt coin is a no no if you are less than two years in the crypto market. My Bitcointalk friend sold all his BITCOIN to buy BITCOIN CASH when it was $2000 thinking it will out perform Bitcoin. Now he regrets that action and hope BITCOIN CASH will hit the all time high once again so he can opt in back into Bitcoin.

The best thing in crypto is not to follow anyone's advice and do your own diligent research. Nothing beat your own research in the crypto market.

I will advice you to look for a coin you trust very well, because most of this new coins are scam, they are only interested in your investment just for them to scam you, so I think it is good to invest is the popular coin like Bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin etc

What does trust means to you my friend?

Emotion is a bad thing in investment, it makes you prone to the risks of losing your investment even in other investment industry outside the crypto world.

But at least dealing with what you know is better, for instance most people that invest in onecoin, global risk exchange, fluxcoin few but mention, today they are regretting but if they invest like Bitcoin or ethereum at least they will still have hope

Yes dealing with what you know is good but it put your investment in greater risk. In your example, those people invested in onecoin and fluxcoin following the trust and love triggered by their emotion. Instead of carrying out their own research to know those coins were centralized and there investment were at the mercy of the coin creator.  More reason why so many smart crypto investors/traders don't like ripple.

All I want to point out is, don't invest with any emotional trigger. Do your research before you invest in anything.

Your trust can not be trusted in investment. 😎

maybe it's better if you invest all in bitcoin, and wait a few more years. it's likely that it will become an invaluable treasure

in my opinion the risk is not too big, because we can focus on one project and development. but the weakness if the coin turns out to be no more profitable than other coins of course we will be disappointed. I would rather invest in several types of coins, an analogy is simply put eggs in various nests.

This is one of the best advice I have read on this thread. Buy some Bitcoin, and a hard wallet and keep some cool cash for your future self when bitcoin hits the million dollar price mark. Your $300 investment today will be worth over $30,000 if the million dollar price mark is hit.

Do not invest all your money in crypto let alone you invest it in 1 coin, it is better if some of your investment in a real investment
and of course if you want to invest in crypto do not just 1 coin

Despite the fact that altcoins this year did not actually increase in price and were in a state of oppression, ICO projects have not yet died, and this is already good. In my opinion, ICO fraudulent projects have now decreased, although investor activity is also very low. Due to the poor state of the market, investors do not want to take risks and many even good ICO projects do not now collect even the minimum amount. I think that when the cryptocurrency market begins to rise, the activity of the ICO should revive.

Its high risk, put your half money into bitcoin and half more into top ten altcoin like cardano, stellar, ripple and of course ethereum

$300 isn't a big investment but I go with this kind of strategy as I tend to be conservative and not go for high risk. At least with Bitcoin you've got at least one coin with a track record.

There's an old saying "never put all of your eggs in one basket."  That applies always in any type of investing or trading. Yes maybe you score big and it's great, but if you lose you are taking a hit on the whole account. My rule of thumb is never more than 20% in one trade and that's even high. All-in is never a good idea.

Depends on nothing, it's a bad idea altogether. When bad news comes and dumps, then what? You got Rekt that is what. That is why you don't go all-in. It's a rookie mistake, don't learn the hard way.

I think all coins can go down when negative news comes but investing in coin top, reduce a little loss and I want to ask you when positive news comes what happens to the coin top?

Now you're playing a 50/50 chance with your whole account, good news or bad news. And if that's what you base your trading on.......I would stop trading. Thanks for proving my point further with your response.

Be that as it may, i'm a little financial specialist (300$) and i'm genuinely thinking to place all my cash in just 1 venture I believe is awesome which curretly is in the best 10 of altcoins. I would prefer not to say the name on the grounds that my theme needs to be extremely broad: what do you believe is the hazard thusly? Would it be advisable for me to put resources into 2 or 3 coins?

Going all in on one coin is to risky, in investment remember what they say , spread your risk. if one coin loses all its value you will be left with a shit coin in your hands. spread across 3 or 4 coins and see what happens. its a  safe bet

Investing all your money in one coin means you're putting all your eggs in one basket. It might be a good move if the coin becomes very profitable, but it is also a very risky move incase there is decline in the coin. It is better diversify in order to reduce the risk.

2-3 is very risky option in my view, I would share your resources between at least 10 coins expecting that one of them would bring 10x while others as they could.

Do you know this proberb Don't Put All your Eggs in One Basket,It is very risky but great coin very profitable.I suggest you top 10 coinmarketcap coin to hold to get best profit.

It's risky to put all our investments in one coin but if the coins are bitcoin, I don't think it's wrong. Perhaps the risk of holding a coin, which is bitcoin, is that we miss out on opportunities to make big profits when an altseason occurs
