Miners generate bitcoin everytime they add blocks to the blockchain until the bitcoin reward run out. Bitcoin owners can hodl their bitcoin indefinitely because it will start to lose its value if no trade happens after a certain amount of time because investors will direct their money to some other cryptocoin.

I think no one will replace bitcoin because this is the number 1 coins.

Holding bitcoin is not going to generate any new coins. for coins to be generated there needs to movement, or transactions, once there is the transactions, they need to verified by miners, who will solve complex mathematical issues, and based on successful solving, new coins are generated as reward to those miners.

If there were a lot of people that will hold bitcoin for a certain period of time, then that will be, it think, at least can be considered as hoarding. The price will soon rise because of there are a lot of bitcoins that are being hold. The supply will be down, the demand will rise, so as the price.

no, i don't think so. i think will happen the opposite in this case because there will be less coins to use and so it will become more rare and so the price should rise.

I think there won't any other bitcoin will generate. Because it's limited. And if people holding all bitcoin then it's price rise massively. No other coin can take bitcoin's place.
