you can also make short answers in a topic a simple yes or not or a single character is enough but to be counted as paying posts they must be at least 100 characters long and without using various software let's say they are roughly two lines

It is ok to have short but direct to the point answers as long as first, it meets the 100 characters requirement and second, it is very well explained. Just make sure to it that what we answer is relevant to the topic posted and it will be better if we always back our answers up with complete explanations so readers will fully understand everything. For me, everytime i make comments, I never care how short or how long i can make as long as I have fully explained my thoughts about the specific topic. About creating topics, you can check or read all topics that are available in each sections first before you start making one, specially if you are confused where to publish the topics you would like to create. You can also follow guidelines for creating topics.

Make sure that every comment that you  create in any post contains 100 characters. If you are just using your phone when you see that your comment is atleast 4 to 5 liner it means that your comment is atleast 100 characters or more.

The length however, is 100 meaningful characters and words to be posted on the forums of your choice. In the said rules in the forum. To have a payment in your hardwork you must have have 100+ character when you post or comment but remember the payment start in 101st post if the account is new.

I have question about a special case that may happen to anyone while posting here. As you know the minimum amount of characters to be paid is 100. Now suppose someone makes a post of 75 characters and click on submit reply but after that he knows about the shortage of characters and edits it and add another 70 characters to it to become 145 characters in total. What happens to the posts of this kind? Does system consider it as a 75 or 145 character post?
