To mine bitcoin? Of course it can, but the results are not pleasing. The GPU is used to mine altcoin and I think with a few settings you can still make a few dollars. There is a concept of thinking about mining that is not yet known by some people who believe mining is unprofitable.

You do not practice mining, you mix a lot of different things and you are half in error ... Asic is not manfatory the better. It depends of a lot of things.

before this question you need to ask to yourself, how many money do i have to pay for kWh? because the profitability of mining depends only on how much you pay in electricity. if your fees are almost 0 then you can ask about which gpu is better to mine, for this question i think the GTX 1070 is the best

The graphic cards that you will choose is depending of the coins you want to mine and the algorith used for it. It also depends of what you plan for a definited period.  In December 2017, I choosed GPUs with 8gb for ETH mining becasue I planned to do mining for years.

mining process requires high electricity and highly updated pc.and i think using of gpu will be more convenient for the mining process comppare to cpu process

The 10xx series could be helpful 1050,1070 or the latest I think 20xx series , and you need atleast 4Gb of it  I think for more hash rate, it is very costly, and very much consuming in electricity.

there no specific. but nicehash requires at least ddr5 graphic cards. so check latest generation of cards before buy.

Sometimes it depends on the algorithm. Not all algorithm supports the same graphics cards. Nvidia Gforce  1070 is the most used graphics card actually. And also Amd radeon rx 580 is quite amazing. I used these two and I will suggest others too.

I personally use Nvidia cars because they are the best on the market to be honest. I don't have it yet but the vidia GTX 1070 is the most used and the best miner. It gives the miner 30 MH/s and it has very low power consumption according to counts. Hope that was helpful to you my dear brother.

There is no specific  graphic card for beginning mining, you should only bear in mind that the higher the capabilities of your machine the higher your profit from mining.

It's simple. More powerful is the Graphic Card and betteer it is. Actually a great card for mining is RX 5700 from AMD. it's good for Etash algorithm.

I think that is depend on your budget

For now the fastest and efficient for mining is using ASIC miner like Antminer, Innosilicon, etc. Every ASIC miner have different algorithm

1080ti, 1080, 5700xt, 2070 and higher(get ready gor high usage of electricity). More vram is better choice, especially for etherium. there's also some amd rdna 2 videocards coming soon with high performance

You do not necessarily need a graphic card for mining as it is fully possible to mine good coins with just a cpu, check out Monero for example. However if you have a gpu then you can also mine on the gpu and on the cpu at the same time so that is of course an advantage. Check out whattomine and punch in your card of choice and it will return what is best for that hardware.
