yes its true, bitcoin is used and has been used in deep web for years now and they prefer it to fiat money because its untraceable and thats why countries dont want it,

Bitcoin can be use in any type of payment, yes it can be use in black market especially that they payment is secure and no one can trace you. But because of transaction fees, I heard that black market rarely use bitcoin payment and they prefer to use other currencies like Monero as it is designed to keep the users anonymous.

Bitcoins is used by people due to it's impossible nature to track who has it ,or who the sender or receiver is. Hiding thier identity,  everything in the dark web. Is sold in bitcoins as the currency. You get every illegal stuff in dark web from child pornography to guns and hiring a Hitman to kill someone.

Your friend will reject the bitcoin market just becasue he said that the Bitcoin will used in the black market than the fiat money is also used for the murderd and also for the drugs dealing, so i think he is not used the fiat money now.

I think because crypto currency have a characteristics of anonymity or hard to trace transaction. So I think they used it to have a mask in this transaction especially in black market.
