I have seen an increased interest by the banking sector to offer cryptocurrencies to clients and depositors as an investment strategy. We have seen many like JPMorgan, Citi and I've read about banks in Italy, the UK and Germany that are ready to offer crypto investments. It was Paypal that joined too and all financial institutions will follow.

I am recommending buying any way and withdrawing to offline wallet as I am learn so far this is how you are safe invested in crypto. Now if some people think it is better to do this with a bank then do it and let the bank be the holder of your crypto but you will not be able to use them as they are purpose for.

I don't like banks messing with crypto but these assets are for everybody and if they can help with adoption I wouldn't mind at all. The german economy can find a good investment in Bitcoin and big funds can enter the market and buy, but I see Europe stalling a lot in this and the US is buying everything lately. Maybe Europe should be more decisive some day and do what is supposed instead of losing opportunities every time.

There are more and more banks that offer the service of being able to store their cryptocurrencies but the real question in many I believe is whether it will be safe to make a safeguard of your crypto since you partially lose access to them and it is as if they were not really yours.

The news that banks can now legally make deals with crypto is met with enthusiasm in all the countries this appeared, banks are now making plans and creating investment options for the customers they have and will offer custodial accounts for investment in cryptocurrencies. I still wait to see more from German banks as they were allowed to do that and maybe they took their time and didn't act as fast as they should have been. Perhaps they wait for another year and try to sell Bitcoin to their investors when it will be at the next top of a new bubble at $200k. Taking too long doesn't help with Bitcoin, you have to act faster.
