Founder of Exchange "Loses" Private Keys

It was very unlucky simply because the 33 Bitcoin are a huge amount if it convert to our local currency. Since he is a CEO why he lose his private keys quickly and negligent to his private keys.

This is really ridiculous. it is un repairable loss. mean 33 btc are removed from 21million. and also in future this type of incidents have major impact on supply of btc.

The owner of a wallet with 33 BTC, in a country where there are probably many ways to disappear from the radar for a while, being so clumsy to 1) lose the private key, and 2) log out of his wallet(s)?

33 bitcoins, this is a very large amount, and in order to come to it, you had to invest your money. I think you need to securely hide your private keys.

I dont think that it is a negligence, this looks some sort of scam. mostly exchanges are being scammed or hacked with the compromises by either staff or main head. As we have a bigger example like bitconnect project whom have scammed peoples like this.

There is no way they lost their access to the funds as exchanges take measures. Since someone is able to understant a few things about Bitcoin in order to be able to built or even just run and exchange, it is certain that he is not that incompetent to actually lose the private keys to 33BTC. This is pure exit-scam method.

well im glad this only had 33 bitcoins in it because in the long run we will have so much lost bitcoins and this will lessen the entire supply in the market.

lofty crisis and this is one of the demerit of the wallet that provides a key in with the cost of the fundamental will not be adept to put in and shake off the whole lot and unvarying who will regain the register to know the login in a row to be adept to manipulation

I dont think somebody can be such careless and that too a exchange founder..i think there is a mistake in the news printing or publishing.if it is true then founder will be having some ulternatives to recover the account.

I think this is bad news for all those who had deposit their crypto on that exchange and it is also the negligence of exchange owner, which make people to lose their hard earned bitcoin as we know 33 bitcoin are not a small amount, it is too much.

This keeps happening, don't know why people will not keep their private keys safe, they just don't understand how important they are, without your private keys you coins will be lost of ever, I am so sorry for those who in using that exchange.

Maximum people’s don’t believe this news because we know all people’s save his private key in safe place. But Exchange CEO are very careful about private key rather then Normal  user they can't underestimat his private key.

This is huge blender from CEO ,now many people lost their money because of him.This truly a bad news for zimbadwean.The is irresponsibility  of Higher position person.I hope they find a way to recover it.

I think there is a person behind that or an attacker that stole the data.in this kind of world there is a lot of scammers that are only waiting and finding right time to scam or to stole peoples wallet or bitcoins.

That's a really sad news. Because we can't recover account without private keys or phrase. It's not saved by wallet admins. It's a decentralised platform where our data not saved.

It is not good news for bitcoin because if people would loss their crypto coins in this way they would be discouraged to work in crypto. If the CEO has lost the key then 33 btc are wasted now. He could not get them back. To make crypto safe there should be another option to get coins back.
