the two disadvantages you mentioned do still exist even before bitcoin, if people want to escape paying taxes they will do it with or without bitcoin, same goes for money laundering. but putting it all on bitcoin is wrong.

Hmm, I don't think that it should be considered as the benefits or advantage of cryptocurrency, how about those countries who don't have a stable internet connection, cryptocurrency would not be so convenient for them because cryptocurrency needs a good internet connection. It should be considered as a disadvantage of cryptocurrency because not all have the capability to accessor buy a good network.
