Yeah earning 5 - 10 in a volatile market like crypto currencies market is hard if all you got is to invest, investing and holding etheruem would not give that daily profits, only daily trading can.

Yep I know you can not make profit in daily just holding ethereum, but trading you can, but there is no guaranteed that you can always make profit in trading everyday. He said he afraid of losing money so holding ethereum is the best way for him.

Earn $1-$5 per day is good for you. I don't think that you cannot earn more from trading, but you need to have skills, and you should learn about trading itself. The trading will give you the unlimited potential of income, but you need to analyze to find the right coin that will be your way to make a profit. 
Maybe first, you need to learn the basics lesson of trading and find out how you can find the right coin to buy. It's not just about purchasing the coin when it's down, but it's also finding the coin that can be potential to increase in the next hours or days.

Trading is the best option because if he just invest 200$ and and safe the coins its not a good idea but if he tarde on the coins on daily basis he make good money through it and he can withdraw good money through it. Crypto trading is the best option.

Investing is the smartest thing to do. Especially if you don't know anything about trading. If you could trade I would suggest that you try to double your money, but that's not an option. Once you invest it, I would start to looking for new alt coins to keep your wealth going.

Many people just put all their faith in one coin, but that isn't the smartest thing to do. There's a reason they have multiple cryptocurrencies, so shop around, and find the one you like.

If you know nothing about trading, I would suggest that you keep your money in BTC or some other strong alt like ETH, XRP, BCH, etc

Try to maximize your earnings here and learn as much as you can.... profit will come naturally resulting from your work
