That is one good suggestion that I totally agree with, you are right some posts are really long and some members just quote it and write a line or so beneath it and you have to keep going to find a good comment that deserved to be given a positive evaluation. Thank you for this nice thought.

It is good suggestion, and if it is to be updated to the forum until then we can minimize the quoted manually by pressing on them on the part next to where it is write quote. It is helps when someone is quotes a very big post and we are not have to read it again.

Sometimes quoted posts are annoying as some members quote a huge post just to answer with a few words. This is also kind of spam and a short presentation of the quoted post containing only the first three or four lines of the quoted post would be great.

Frankly, when I see unnecessary and long articles, I get bored and too lazy to read. But it will be very good if the suggestion you mentioned is actually implemented. This will solve this problem.

It is normal, but I do not think there is a need to quote what the post is there, and we know that you are responding to it so I prefer not to quote unless you want to respond to the comments

 It is useful to specify the comment that you want to respond to in case it is a question and you have an answer to it, but if the main post is quoted, it is annoying. You can comment without the need for that and we will understand the idea

Yes indeed, this is annoying and I hate when a member makes this long quote, it is not necessary at all to quote the entire topic, some posts are very long and it happens that there are more than one member quote the entire topic and this makes the page long and boring.
Members only have to select part of the text and quote it, that's not difficult at all.

I don't think invision implemented this feature in their core version yet but I found this plugin Minimized Quote 1.2.0 which does the job, I kindly ask Administration to check this suggestion and see if it's possible to implement, Thanks for reading

Perhaps you are true. May be it is annoying for most of the users. But I never felt inconvenient, because a large quote box clearly visible to us and show us the comparison between two posts. If it become shorter just to increase beauty then we have to switch both the posts again and again. This will become difficult to compare posts.

Personally, i don't have any problem with long Quote or short Quote. I can read both but yeah, if this system of collapsing of a post and short post can be introduced then it is a good thing for the members and it can facilitate in reading post without any problem.

The feature is already here to minimize the long post quotes if someone has made to some threads. You just follow the simple steps. First click on the pointed down icon as shown in the screenshot. 

After that, you can see, long quoted post is hidden to the box in this way.

I also hate it sometime because it full the whole page and if you check what they write, it not something very useful, we can actually edit the quote ,clean some of it and make the quote possible, but some members just quote ,no matter how long it is

Yeah i think that's is a good idea because some people here in cryptotalk are hated those long post while the meaning of that long post is just very simple. Did you get my point?  It is so irritated because it is like you are getting fool because of the repeated words of that certain post. That's for me.

i agree with this suggestion, we can just quote some posts but just minimized, there are no wrong with that just to be sure if you doing some minimize quote, put all the necessary ideas to know them the importance of your quote.

Well its good thing that cryptotalk now in present has feature of what you wanted to quote or the specific things you wanted to find as you know which helps alot when it needs some clearing up issues when someone doesn't understand what was the purpose.

That's a good feature in the forum, that helps to minimize quote which it will reduce space but it will only be allowed to be minimize by the member that quote the posts.

Yes dude you are right, you have given a good idea to minimise the qoute because the long qoute are really frustrated to see and it is difficult to to go down and read the actual answer

More users only quote for having more length for their post they think that when we create a long post then we will receive more likes because when all users gave 50 paid rates for receiving 50 talk tokens then mostly users don't notice that the post is useful or not they don't read posts they only giving ratinges as seeing the length of post so know the 50 paid rates idea disabled.

According to my opinion I don't think quotation is bad because some people don't have the idea and experience of doing the quote short but what we need is to pass informations to one another and acquire knowledge and experience to one another

+1 greater vote for this minimized quote feature. As it's miles the, pages are already see you later and you need to scroll dont a full-size quantity earlier than achieving the bottom. Sometimes i see quote is so large. Try to write quote shortly and then describe it below. Main point should be less. Then when you describe this you can briefly explain then. Good luck. Have a nice day everyone. Thanks for the idea.

I totally agree with this mate. I have seen lots of people quoting the entire post once again. I think this is really unnecessary . I said so because it only makes the post look longer and big but it wont have nothing to do with uniqueness or usability. It is just the comment made once again . So I think those who all are doing it must stop doing this and try to come up with you own opinions.
