Funny but I didn't know the meaning of Jargon so I googled it and it is interesting. Not about the exact meaning of the word currently, but the meaning in it's archaic form.

What we shouldn't be with Bitcoin, is weak hands, as this is how the scared investors look at Bitcoin, usually it is those that don't believe in Bitcoin, never did research and only invested to quickly double up, sell and quit after that, although this is the big mistake as they are those that will sell at a loss instead and probably buy again very higher.

A  whale 🐋. How does one get to be a whale?. This has really caught my attention. And i believe the whales are also the set of people that determine the direction a coin will go. The most used terms are these and most are used from traders in stocks and forex. Hodl is probably the only one started from crypto and of course shitcoins but this is not a term but a slang word.

I don't like a lot of this terminology. Some are used widely and I have seen many use the word FUD improperly, just to defend some actions of their favorite coin and not suffer losses. For example I have seen many ripple holders talking about FUD, when in fact it was the american authorities dragging Ripple to the court with a lawsuit.

These are really precious information to know , and every member should know about them , I guess I have recently known about two of them , so I hope that your topic gets read by all the members especially newbie. Terminology is very different from knowing the language , you can know English but still unaware of some of the specific terms.

All terms mentioned in the topic are essential to know for all newcomers in the crypto world because experts often use such terms to define the things related to cryptocurrencies.
