Yes you are write my friend! I also saw a few members use tag on there content.I also don't use tag because I become concern about my post.If moderator delete my post? If members give me negative ratings? Many questions is running in my head thinking about tagging. Well I want to research on that dude!

I agree with you,  We must be need to use proper tag in our topic. By this your post have a big chance to viral. The other reason of using tag in mention. If you want to reply anyone's comment, you will set @his/her name and write your answer. By this They got a notification and easily read your reply for his/her post. The feature is very useful for us all especially members that are having problems in the forum, just tag any senior member that you know so that he can come to your aid, so don't feel too big to ask my friend because no one is perfect in this forum and we all started as newbies.

For example, there are some topics that are very important in the referral section, mobile app section, wallet section, and other sections but very sadly those topics may have only 2 - 5 replies! Don't just tag 10, 20, 30, or more members in every topic, you can tag them in some topics or those sections which they have few viewers daily! Just write this symbol @ without space... then write any letter, names that starts with those letters will appear and you can select any to be shown in your topic.

You tag worked perfectly @Calvinpriva. It is a great feature and it should be a standard in all platforms. Funny how people still spend their day on bitcointalk disfuctional forum where nothing works anymore. Cryptotalk is a modern forum having all required features that other forums are missing.

I usually use tags when creating topics, but i don't think it is really that important. In my opinion, people search for posts in exact sectors, and if the topic is on top, it is gonna get comments. Tagging users can be useful, but sometimes it looks like a way for post creators get more ratings on their topics. Of course, it is just my thoughts, but some topics are bizarre, and tagging there seems like a fraud.
