From everything said and must be avoided. That's all very true, so we really have to avoid that. And one point to "do not be greedy" is that which is not included in what should be avoided, because it is not to avoid fraud.

I would also add that nobody should click on emails of website support requesting payment to fix the problem. Support staff should never ask you to pay in order to diagnose an issue.

that's a point to note too. In all these sites, the related party (team) has never asked for payment to resolve the problem or confirm payment

That are some good prevention steps to avoid scammers or hackers. I would if people would be more aware about their safety in cyrptocurrency world. Not only it could protect their assets or wallet, but it would save them a lot of future problems if they do what's right early on.

Everyday in the crypto world i try to be alert and not fall into scams so i go read docs that will strengthen my knowledge and also do research on a website before i sign up to it. why do i not sign up at all, so they don't just not get my money but my email neither. That's my trick that's how i can't be easily scammed. But today i found an article that would help you guys. And here are the ways to protect yourself from scammers;

  • Be alert to the fact that scams exist.
  • Know who you're dealing with.
  • Do not open suspicious texts, pop-up windows or click on links or attachments in emails – delete them.
  • Don't respond to phone calls about your computer asking for remote access – hang up.
  • Keep your personal details secure
  • Keep your mobile devices and computers secure.
  • Choose your passwords carefully.
  • Review your privacy and security settings on social media.
  • Beware of any requests for your details or money.
  • Be wary of unusual payment requests.
  • Be careful when shopping online.
  • Don't be greedy

NOTE; In the crypto world scammers are everywhere, some of us could not even have known there is something called cryptocurrency if that for that scam call.

If you this content helps you and others out there share and like(React) 😊

People who get scammed twice are because of thier greediness. They do not learn from thier mistakes and repeat the same mistake leaving them broke or nothing. As far as scam websites are concerned they send attachments link (to activate your account on thier website) and when a person clicks on that link they get access to your emails and all your private messages. So be careful who or which website you're dealing with.

The best solution to scams is to do your extensive research before you start with any project online, scammers are not easy to detect so you have to spend some time reading reviews and doing background studies on the projects.

Before crypto regulation we have to be careful against the scammer. After regulation I think maximum scammers will vanish because of new rules.

I like your point that we should careful about our social media's accounts. Because most of the people use same email id or number in crypto and social media. Thus scammers start connect you on facebook, instagram, twitter etc then they reach your crypto accounts. So use different details on social media.
