Hello friend, i don't know the exact number of all crypto currencies but i know there are more than 2000+ crypto currencies. But among all them there are legit and fake coins, so we should use the reviewing sites to find the legit coins and invest in them.

I don't know the exact number of the crypto currency available i think there are more than 5000 crypto currency available but most of these currencies are dead because of 0 supply and 0 volume.

I don't think anyone can know the exact number of crypto currencies at a particular point in time as the crypto currencies are created everyday and their prices are unpredictable so I think everyone should use the well known ones for transactions.

As per view I think there are two type of crypto. One is called as coin and the other one is token. I think mostly people call token as altcoin. Coin have their own blockchain network and tokens created under any blockchain.
