How heavy ? Of course investing big amounts are risky because  exchanger can get hacker attack sometimes and if you don't use big and trustable exchanges it could be a major problem for you. I think it's safe if you use trustable exchangers, but the best way to protect your fund is using your own wallet.

Obviously dude investing in one place is dangerous in some way like in form of losses occur to wallets or scammers attack.so it is always an advice to store and to make your money in different ways and do not invest your all earnings in one place.

Of course it's not safe to invest heavily in the world of crypto currency. You shouldn't invest all of your money in one place. If you invest all of your money in one coin, you can loose your money because coin price has many fluctuations so you should be very careful about the investment.
