How To: Check if you're the only one having problems in Cryptotalk.org

For the past few days, we have been experiencing some downtime in the server, especially on specific times. Though one way to find out if you're the only one having problems in connecting to the server is through this site: https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/

 

 

You could type "cryptotalk.org" and press the Check button to check if the server/website is really down for everyone that wants to access it, or the problem is only within your device (like a firewall problem or internet censorship on your country).

 

Note: The online tool might provide an inaccurate result, since the website might intermittently be up or down, and so you could always refresh the page for the tool to recheck its availability.

Great post, you should also suggest the following mirror websites which also check for down websites: isup.me, downfor.io and the long version of the name, downforeveryoneorjustme.com, They're useful if one of the down detectors is down.

The problem with this method is if the problem only relies on your device's configuration. For example, if your device's firewall has a setting to block any traffic coming from a site related to crypto, or has a domain name with string containing "crypto", then no matter what refresh you do, you wouldn't be able to access the site, even if the site actually functions well.

Well this is helpful I never heard about this site before but  dont worry Cryptotalk is fixing the problem we all encounter this problem so you dont have to worry because it will be fix soon.

It only shows if the back end is down, there many times are front end issues which cannot be shown by any of those "is it down?" sites.

Well, I think the main problem is in the forum or its server only because the problem is happening at a specific time, and we all experience it at the same time, so it only means we don't have the problem it's in the forum's forum.

That's an informative post to know if the certain website was down or not. I usually ask my colleagues if they will experience this issues because they are also a member on this forum.

I have also experienced some errors in loading pages in this forum but I think it is only a problem of server over-loading and nothing to worry about because it is just a temporary problem and vanishes soon. This can happen to any website with busy servers. Just wait and refresh.

Thanks a lot for this tip as I have been experiencing a lot of inconvenience and confusion whenever the site fails to load, I only have limited time to browse cryptotalk and that time happens to always be the time when the servers experience problems so I spend a lot of time trying to figure out if the error has something to do with the server or with my internet, hope the site gets fixed soon as currently I can't use the site as much as I would want.

Really so many problems face with site two days back site is not open for 5 to 6 hour seriously im scare what I banned are something and when my post submit that so much time take to approval and page not open speed some time it happens I think it's only server busy are daily so many new comers add this site so the load also do the server down

Thanks for sharing your solution. As of now when I encounter some trouble in this forum I always refreshing my browser and after doing it everything is okay and back to normal but if I encounter that my solution isn't working I would love to do this suggestion.

I know that my words were a bit harsh but aren't you tired of seeing replies that are irrelevant? I think not. 

What's he means is that sometimes there have errors that's happening in the forum, but its too hard to know if that error is self error or publicly error
