That is the thing which make crypto currencies unique among other fiat currencies. It is not controlled by any government. But this point have also bad impact because due to this many Governments didn't accept crypto currencies.

No regulations can have negative effects as well. The market is Far West and investors are not taking it seriously. Pump & Dumps and inside trading thrive in crypto markets and the top exchanges are into very shady deals. Plus token is allowed to dump their stash and withdraw to chinese bank accounts. Noone even talks about it. There is a huge system where everyone is involved that plays everything down. Of course everything is recorded and it is stupid to try and hide all of these.
