I totally agree with your opinion even I am happy if BTTC and ETH are very high-value currencies because both of them are considered to be good kings of crypto currencies so I don't think there will be another crypto that can match those two.

Most used cryptocurrency in world wide is bitcoin so as it's pricing is also increasing rapidly. But another currencies like litecoin and ethereum also more popular and has high usage. But still bitcoin as cryptocurrency is having another level of competition. But i uses mostly litecoin which has very low transfer charges.

in my opinion ETH is the most used one case it used as gas in its network and also it has a great daily volume 
in second level dogecoin cause it is used to transfer your money easily without great fees and in short time also
