The annoying part is that once they got the money, some of them simply 'vanished' from the forum, leaving the others to clean up the mess they leave behind. Thus they gave an impression that they simply got active here just for the money, and no amount of excuses will help them. I am active in this forum for quite a long time, so I know a bit of what is happening here.

 

They've proven themselves, alright. Proven money-mongers, that is.

 

I see that you are still new to this forum, so I'll be giving you a warm welcome, BTW. If you really want to prove yourself, do it with your content. There are still plenty of opportunities that will come here, and you should try to hold your ground in the meantime.
