I have not lost on either maybe small amounts in both but nothing substantial, I lost because I put my faith in exchanges, thats where I lost money. They just went spoof without any warnings and without any notifications. If they had not gone, I would have been pretty good situation now.

Yes most of the people lose huge amount in their life gambling .Gambling like a greedy to earn more benefit  people become gready and lose all money and also by addicted to it.

I always try to control myself so I don't get addicted to a gambling site. This is something that is really serious and should not be allowed. I often hear stories of how people sell all their possessions because they have become addicted to gambling

I agree with you about knowledge. Statistics reduce the "luck" factor and help you understand better certain situations and take decisions accordingly. Also information can be of real value if it is provided in the right time. It is just a matter of how "lucky" you are I guess, to be at the certain place at the certain time! I Lost most of my money online in scams, mostly in hyip websites, there are a lot of local scamers who get money from you and block you, but there hyip programs are most scamers of the world. I have seen a lot of hyip programs which even don't last for 5 to 6 days...!!!! And i personally lost almost 20$ yup...not too much but still a lot for a student
