What I'd like to add it not to re-use the same password for different websites, as it is probably a mistake most are making and also not to download extensions unless you are absolutely certain they are safe. Make research before you download extensions or desktop apps from new projects as quite a few were malicious in the past.

Apart from password, spending most of the time online is what makes accounts more vulnerable to attacks. When you have nothing to do with the internet, disconnect and continue offline. Some people always leave internet connected even when they have nothing to do online. Logging out from your account or wallet is also important. Don't just close the tab when you are finished. Click sign out to block access to your account.

yeah and also be careful of phishing sites that seem so much alike to the sites and always check if the website is HTTPS or not , that is a great life saver, website with no HTTPS is 100% scam
