I also have received negative reputation from this platform. When I receive such reputation i take it in a self analysing manner. I would go through that particular post and find out why I had received negative reputation. I always take such criticism in a constructive manner so that I can understand why I received it and also work up on how I could improve my post in order to receive better reputation.

I do not know actually how the count of reputation works but the only thing that matters to me is the rating to every post that I have manage to get. This actually helps me to get me paid higher than not getting a rating to my posts because the platform usually pays the posts that are not given rating or negative rating in low currency or value. Reputation actually is a really helpful function of this platform since it could be used as a positive reinforcement for the people who are getting continuously demotivated by the environment that they have. In this way, they might be more committed in continuing to make quality posts in this platform.
