I always take time to read other users comments because sometimes this is where we can find answers about a topic we have questioned of, so instead of asking first, it's better to take time on reading comments so that questions are not going to be duplicated or repeated. The content of a topic will pass just little message to the forum members,but the comments attached to the topic will pass more knowledge and more things will be discussed by different people, and different ideas also, that why it important to also read comments of topic to gain more experience and knowledge @Biojay

If we are not sure about what we are going to post then we should do some research either by reading and understanding others comments or from other sources like internet. But reading other's comments doesn't mean that we should copy their words, we should understand it and then put in our own way.
