Okay my question is, will Akons coin take off? Akon ,the richest rapper , American but from Africa  rapper, has a coin that has been established and it is ready to be launched, but other coins not doing so well over the world , will that one work for the rest of us Africans, we sure hope so because at the end we will be able to work in a much different way that works properly the greatest is for us Africans to be set free

Honestly i don't see why these localized new cryptos even exist. If they want to be a "crypto city", why not just use bitcoin and other existing projects that have enough liquidity. It feels like centralized scam where only reason for new coin is because they want to control the flow and make a few bucks with it.

 i didn't heard about this coin.but after reading your topic i just came to know about the same.but i don't think this local coin gonna work in crypto.because we already see thousands of local coins that launch every day and flop very soon

This famous singer has many fans and I think this will help him launch his cryptocurrency and spread it quickly in Africa and the world. He is not an ordinary person and I thank his interest in and support for cryptocurrencies because it contributes to proving the fact that cryptocurrencies exist.

I have not heard of this news. Has the Akon coin been launched yet? I want to see it. it will probably be a local free currency. but it would be better if it expanded operations in cryptocurrencies, if loved Akon Coin would be used much this makes it more popular and more valuable.

I don't know this rapper named Akon. I have not heard of Akons coin yet. so with this way of working it will be the local currency right, if expanded operations it will be more promising and have a better future. Pre-local projects are difficult to maintain.

I haven't looked into it a lot, but I hope that the motives are not just about profit, but about builting a better society. Still making a coin with the name of the rapper is actually strange. What will be the use of this coin? Everyone will need it to be able to live in that city and won't use anything else? Will people be paid in this coin? I would ask the real questions about it. First of all technicals as: is it mineable and which algorithm it uses? Coins in circulation, premine rate, max cap, cryptographic protocols used, etc. Then the fundamental ones as: what is it's usecase, what problem does it solve? Who are behind it, is it backed by any major funds?
