Crypto for replacing physical money

I am interested if there is a possibility in the near future to replace our physical money and be replaced by digital ones. Do you think it would happen?.

potentially in europe it is quite likely, as physical money has some kind of a feeling of being racist.

This topic was discussed in the forum. I think in the distant future, FIAT currencies can be replaced by cryptocurrency, especially BITCOIN. But that won't happen too soon, as some people are still skeptical about the crypto market. To make this happen, I think those who offer services should offer as a payment alternative, the Bitcoin method. That way people would become more familiar with cryptocurrency.

In the early ages before the invention of fiat there was the use of gold as currency and when fiat was invented then there was a use of the mixture of both, means some people were using gold as currency and some were using fiat as currency and now everyone is using fiat. I am pretty sure that the same thing will happen with bitcoin. Now some people are using bitcoin and some fiat but a time will come when everyone will use only bitcoin.

I do belive people will be purchasing house hold items with crypto very soon but buying a carton of milk with 100 raven coins or 1000 dogecoins I dunno , it all depends on how it’s delivered to the mass

Crypto is replacing fait but crypto is also affecting people on large scale then the fait money .because of hacking ,scamming .time is change  there was  robber who sneak in you house and robe you not it have to make some few click and your whole life saving is gone .so the time is change

In my country Venezuela, for example, I usually tell people that it is a certainty that the physical money is already being replaced since we drive is transfers, mobile payments and cards, the physical money apart from being a former student is devalued and that has opened the opportunity to digital money and of course it is opening people's minds to cryptocurrencies in search of more sustainable alternatives.

With fiat the robbers know that it is existed in somewhere in your house but no one know that how much crypto is with a person. So if one make his crypto safe with all security and will take care of any hack attempt to his system, no one will be able to hack his/her money.

I think that the electronic money has a great future what you see now from the demand for electronic currencies is a little thing because people still do not understand the meaning of electronic currencies when you know the positives will leave banknotes gradually.

This will happen soon, people barely use physical cash right now, credit card, debit card and others electronic  forms of payment are being used then physical cash, crypto currency is slowly conquering the digital currency industry and after that it will replace physical cash completely.

For the near future, it's almost impossible to happen, for long coming years/decades it's possible provided that some regulations to be imposed

I think that in the future all products and services will have their own token, and the price of tokens will be dictated by the supply for the given good.

It could really happen, any seller can print a QR code of wallet address on a paper and put it in his store and others can pay easily with mobile phones as right now almost everyone in the world has a smart phone

It is already happening as the Federal Reserve is creating money out of thin air (the 90-10 rule). Besides, their executive team is complaining that cryptocurrencies comes from nothing. LOL.

Lol I have always said that cash is printed to increase supply, creating money from nothing, that is, it is only paper, which obviously produces high levels of inflation.

yes this will be happens but it will take too much time to replace the physical money to crypto currency, it is not developed in the some countries and also it is ban and illegal in some countries so it will take long time.

Banks will resist this. Yes, and people will still need cash. There is no government that would give up cash flow control. no it won't be soon

It will happen in the future, but we are facing big problems on this.

There are so many country with a low connection over the internet. there are countries which have places with no internet connection.

We all know that the transfer and payment are depending on the internet!

I think may be this is possible but this prediction will take time to be true and replacing the Fiat currency is that much easy as many people think.

I think its not going to happen today for an instance, It needs time to adopt so let crypto and fiat co exist together in harmony for the time being and if the global community was already educated about what cryptocurrency was capable off and to solve the problem in the financial space, will thats the right time that fiat should be replace in due time.
