Hi guys, this is a very serious thread that needs to be tackle! i will not hesitate to mention the moderatos name if  i found you saying non sense on here and give you the spam warning!

1. I think the reputation must be given to a certain users with an account JR. member and up to give way to the legit of an account.

2. The spam warning button should be manage and can be access only and only the moderators (as for now) to keep the forum legit and credible!

How about you guys?

I share your opinion but since moderators are the only ones who can decide for spam I do not see how they can assign to their credibility right? you have to wait a long time to know who is right and who is wrong

Whenever I see topic like this... I know that creator received spam reaction 😆 and he is offended.

I don't agree that only moderators should have the right to use spam reports,

but as I wrote before, newbies should not have any reactions, but I am not sure if this is possible 

with current forum software.

One option is to remove Spam and Like reaction totally.

Some users are also abusing Likes  (hint: look at the Leadboard)

I don't really understand this, do you mean only Jnr Members should given should be given neg reputation for spam or they should be given the opportunity to report spam? 

I don't know how the report feature works here

I have change my mind and told everything with moderators!

There must be no single member now whatever is the rank to have an access to the spam warning to ban a user in this forum

everything should be manage by the moderators and admin! this is for the fairness of this forum!

I agree with this would be good it will add more structure to the forum, only certain member should have access to give spam warning because these member has spent alot of time on the forum they can better tell which is bad or good.

Nice proposal and this way we will see people are getting used to the forum first before doing this reputation things.

Well I will say it should be in our's hand I mean in forum members hand, consider both mods and admin as forum member too. However, we can deactivate the deduction for the reaction. It may work as just to show in there?

Here is the big question: Will the default forum software have this features already to implement if not then the admin will need a programmer who will do the hard coding and that will be an extra headache honestly speaking.

I think reputation on CryptoTalk forum is still only in experimental phase, and we as members as discussion what would be the best thing for this, to avoid abuse in both cases.

I would say if we keep keep Likes, we should not count total sum of likes, but Likes should be only for specific posts.

Spam should be used only for spam or bad posts, and also I would not have total sum of them.

It's not even about getting the spam reaction, but some users are just ignorant of why the feature was made available, but instead they'll just go about giving unnecessary reactions to posts.

I there should be a section for reputation or reporting a user section. So people can report someone that he thinks some users broke the rules. Like on bitcointalk, i hope admin see this one.

I agree with that opinion, because everyone can create a new account and do spam, besides that I hope there are restrictions on creating accounts related to fake accounts or account cloning  with IP restrictions

yes i am agreed, thats reputations should be given to legit users and who are becoming old users, but in this forrum every person reputation increase when he got love react, it must be given by the moderators to users.

some of the users receive positive reputations way more than what deserve as their posts really doesn't make sense at all, It makes me wonder how is this happening

Number one. I think reputation still loving you.

Number two. How do you know if someone other than a moderator has access to the spam warning button? Did he give you a warning note?
