There are lots of ways to secure your wallet the one I use is coinbase wallet but this is the wallet in order for you not to get hacked always use different email don't use the same email you opened your crypto wallet this is very risky try to be anonymous and always put more than 14 characters of letters of words and symbol don't be lazy this is your money so setup hard password and use different emails for your online business and your wallet.

Yeah its also a very good way to secure your wallet to choose a random number  of password and also 2fa security is very good security.

yes exactly you should activate 2fa in exchanges but most of wallets don't have this aption one another point ( keep your private key safe and do not share it in social media)

In most cases, I lost access to my wallet by forgetting password and even the email I used t sign up pass passphrase, private keys and so on. So we should be careful with ourselves before jumping into accusing hackers.

A private key with 12 or 16 words or the like in it makes a very good password, by the way. Even an 8 word password would take decades to crack with a brute force method so a private key would be impossible to guess with today's technology.

In myetherwallet the no.1 thing you have to do is to make sure that the keys for the wallet are store and keep safe , make sure your putting your wallet erc20 not the keys when joining airdrops

Local wallets same thing secure and backup local wallet incase your pc breaks or damage, always keep in external or somewhere safe

Exchange wallets though not accepted in airdrops securing your exchange by putting lots of securities to make it safe, this is not recommended to keepnyour tokens but sometimes we have no choice, so always enable security features and remember also to backup the authenticator code

Right , mainly the security depend on the person who is the owner of any wallet. exchange wallet is not good for storing big amount so all should store it at cold storage.
