If there is a buying craze then price will keep rising. Millions are interested in Bitcoin but still don't want to buy as most people have limited funds for investments. The target lately for Bitcoin has been institutions. This is why people like Pompliano were put in some positions as fund managers and instructed pension funds and other institutions to buy Bitcoin. They succeeded partially which was also a surprise but probably because these fund managers knew it was good time to buy. Meanwhile now is the most speculative price action and there are still buyers and price can still rise some more, but it can also start dropping, it is a very high price above $30,000, maybe there will be a pause there for some weeks.

Venezuela and Argentina are known to be crypto friendly for years, and many there found Bitcoin very early. It helps more to countries that have high inflation to have an easy access to a valuable asset that can keep growing and generates wealth to them. I didn't know Colombia has many miners and crypto activity, I hope that more latin american countries as Brazil become more interested and crypto friendly.

It is nice to see adoption increasing for cryptocurrencies. The blockchain voting doesn't have to do with the crypto market but it isabout the blockchain technology. Adoption is increased for crypto this is what matters most.

The higher the price it will be the lower the demand, and since trading also is a big part of the realization of Bitcoin price for each current minute and second, price will reach a high point and then sellers will be more than buyers, so price will drop. This is how the markets work, and I don't quite understand what is the meaning of talking about shortage in Bitcoin, someone with billions can buy a lot and keep the price rising, since there will always be Bitcoin for sale, in case in one exchange or in many, the sellers are all bought up, then the price will again reach some very high price where the last seller will be selling.

If such thing is happened, Bitcoin's single smallest unit i.e. 1 Satoshi becomes much more expensive than you believe so far. Miners keep mining Bitcoin until 21 millions of Bitcoins are mined. Bitcoin is designed with an expectation to make its single unit more valuable. Utilizations and usecases of cryptocurrency is increasing exponentially and altcoins are also there to fulfil some demands of investors.
