Which Do you prefer:- ONLINE wallets or MOBILE wallets

      Which Do you prefer, ONLINE                wallets or MOBILE wallets 

Wallets are like the first step towards accuring or owning a cryptocurrency 

Online wallet 

An online wallet allows you to access your crypto via the internet. Although they are fast in transactions and are able to manage multiple crypto currencies on the go, the risk are that you are opened to a potential vulnerability to hackers and scams

Mobile wallet 

ON the contrary, mobile wallets are available on your phone through an application. 

They are secured and a bit safe as well as easily accessible but you risk losing your cryptos should incase you lost or misplace your phone 

 

    Having gone through these post,          which would you rather prefer? 

         ONLINE or MOBILE wallets??

I agree with what you said friend, and the second one is called  Cold storage (off-line) wallet which is an offline wallet used for storing Cryptocurrency. Although the wallet is stored on a platform that is not connected to the internet, thereby protecting the wallet from unauthorized access, cyber hacks and other vulnerabilities to which a system that is connected to the internet is susceptible

I also agree with you but most of mobile wallets have an accessible to online wallets wallet meaning that if you create your account on online wallet then you can also use it on mobile apps too, let's see in Coinbase app which can be accessible on both online and on mobile apps but I recommend mobile wallets for time management and easy transactions

I depends. You are right because most of the time the wallet is not used for transaction and not online but offline. But, it is connected online in any transaction to make. But, still remain that thing private key is always offline though.

For me i just prefer online wallets from those 2, but i could also mention hardware wallet ones as much safer than everything else above all.

 

Basically online wallets provides you a better quicker way for your private keys to be sent over the internet.

Meanwhile the mobile has to go to mobile's line, than to an ISP into an online Server which is a more riskier situation where data could be loss.

 

Also have more experience using online wallets more than mobile as i think as of mobile just using apps for such wallets.

Of course @DreamStagehardware wallet is the best, but we are talking about website online wallet and mobile wallet. But I think there is a confusion in the description of the mobile wallet explanation of @Froshk I think it is not contrary to the online wallet, both use internet to do the transaction, so also mobile wallet is an online wallet.

@Yomose these is just a comprehensive comparison of two similar wallet types. The wallets you are mentioning above is in no way related to the main motive of these topic, they are both online (that's they operate on a real time)

Although one is accessible on your mobile as an application the other you must visit a site. 

Before you classify and information to be accurate or not kindly understand the concept of such information!!!

There isn't any confusion, try to understand that they all use internet to operate on a real time, although one operates through a mobile Application, the other has to go through a website, in conclusion, they are similar in operation. 

The concept was just to know which is more preferable and why....

Okay I understand thanks! But also we can say both are online wallet, the difference it is in the operation, one operates through a mobile Application and the other operates through a website....

It is you I get correctly, web wallet and Mobil wallet, I will prefer mobile wallet because it is like more secure than web wallet, but anyone can use anyone, but going for a reputable ones is the real issue. Coinbase is web, it has good security and customer care, while there are many good mobile wallets too.

In my perception i support hardware wallet   but today's topic something different from my perception. Today's topic is which wallet i prefer online or mobile from this option  i prefer in my own site mobile wallet is the best one

There is no such thing as a mobile wallet, all online wallet... All wallet transactions have to be done online. Online wallet is the best... The online wallets are Blackchain. Coinbase,yobit etc..i use yobit wallet.. It thinik it is very safe and secure account...

I think both of them are just the same think of blockchain wallet it can be accessed vai web or an application and when creating these wallets it's important to keep safe the private keys in case we lose the application or change the browser or phone for easy access.

You make a mistake while writing this. Mobile Wallet are also online wallets and it works on internet. 

But there are off line or hardware wallets which are secure. It is mostly use for long term holding. Examples of offline wallets are keepkey wallet.

Not a mistake, what he is trying to differentiate is the difference between web wallet and mobile wallet. As for me, I prefer mobile wallet which I believe is more secure than web wallet that are most vulnerable to hackers.

May be he saying as you said. If he is then mobile wallets are best as you say because we see many exchanges have been hacked and users loss their assets. 

But if anyone want to do day trading then web wallets are best.

Well, I do not know much about trading on web wallet, I use exchanges like yobit, binance and hitbtc for trading, they have been my best means to trade. While using wallet for only one purpose, to safe my keys that are connected to my funds on blockchain.

@malik6314193there isn't any mistake, perhaps you did not get the message that was passed, online wallets and mobile wallets are similar but not the same!

The question was, which do you prefer, ONLINE or MOBILE??

Both have there pros and cos like you mentioned, but i use the online wallet because its more safer than the mobile wallet, i know you said that mobile wallets are safer but personally i install so meany apps on my phone which access so meany things on my phone so thus apps my get access to my mobile wallet and i may lose my money, but the online wallets have so meany ways to make my wallet secured like 2step verification, google authentication, sms verification so meany.

security comes first for me. I prefer whichever is better in terms of security. fast operation, easy operation, neither science nor many different advantages should preclude the security principle.

You can also trade on some wallets like coinbase, you can try it to see how it works. There is an excuse called coinbase pro where you can trade too, but I am talking about coinbase wallet where you can also trade easily.

i dont use mobile wallets because they are little complicated and hard to use for me , i use online wallets because im on my pc and this make it so easy and also fast for me , so i chose online wallets than the mobile ones .

In my case, I prefer mobile wallets, they are very useful for me to manage my cryptocurrencies from my phone and they seem a little more secure than web wallets, although we all know that it is important to save the seed phrase in case of theft or loss of the device.

In my case, I prefer desktop wallets and mobile wallets. With all this and this I also use versions of Online wallets for their ease of access from my computer. In any of the cases I always activate all the security protocols of my wallets such as two-factor authentication among others. And apart from that I always back up my seeds and secret keys to prevent inconveniences in case of loss of my devices.
