Does Cryptos will deserve a University degree?

There are many professions where if you have enough experience, many universities after a rigorous examination, give you the degree equivalent to that area, I, seeing how hard it is to learn the techniques of the cryptoworld coins and tradeing, the hours months and even years to feel yourself comfortable of knowing the things are being done relatively well, it would not be fair, that universities implemented careers in this specialty and were able to grant a well-deserved degree for so much effort ... is my dream someday

There are two different parts for a study on crypto. Frist is the cryptography the theory behind the crypto blockchain and to make everything secure. That is more part of the study mathematics. And Second the programming of the blockchain and the programming of applications on the blockchain.

I think if Artificial Intelligence is a university degree, crypto can also be a university degree

I find it difficult to study in universities and even less a degree, it is a shame because cryptos are constantly evolving, changing day by day, what you learned yesterday ... tomorrow does not work for you.

 

Having a cryptocurrency title would be a dream, of course, but not very viable. It is more not interesting that we can professionalize ourselves in the field of cryptocurrencies, I do not see it feasible ... a shame.

Once countries have adopt crypto currency properly then it will be necessary to understand its dynamics and there will be a degree for it properly

@MaharbaUniversity can no doubt involve the courses for the blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Some universities of Malta have already started graduate level courses in the blockchain technology. Like as you, I also wish to see universities offering Blockchain-based degree courses to prepare more manpower for the future.

Yes, some institutions are also offering the courses through the online medium. Edx and Udemy are doing their best. At least, all ideas regarding blockchain technology should be carefully handed to the new generation to expect the revolution in future😉.

I think deserve. Right now cryptocurrency still is not regularized, but if the governments take the decision immediate to implement it in their education sector, cryptocurrency education program is ready, teachers are ready, thanks to Blockchain and others sources of information, like forums, media social where people teach others about cryptocurrencies.

Every profession need experts  opinion where the crypto is a knowledge and need institute where people learn and master the degree. They graduate and have the degree from recognize institute. Which shows their credibility for crypto jobs they can built their carrier easily through this and have place in society  .The crypto must have university where all the knowledge taught by professional professors.

If you want to become professional trader or even blockchain creator you definitely need to learn a lot and in a few years we can see some educational centers which can help people to learn about cryptocurrency world and its structure

I think yes, cryptos should be taught in the university as a whole speciality (blockchain technology, trading and technical analysis, mining process,..) because it's very rich, interesting, and useful study field

It's going to be a very nice idea @Maharba introducing  cryptocurrency to schools will make students have a means of income. Just like entrepreneurship, student will learn to be dependent on them selves. They will be able to use the income in their meselenious expenses.

The university may give you the light to continue your path in this field. No one wants to know from another person when he knows what he might achieve from his knowledge. However, this does not apply to everyone. Universities will cost them a lot.

There are universities teaching blockchain technology. But they teach only this and not about cryptocurrencies. For me it is easier to know about cryptocurrencies because of studies in finance but for a programmer may be hard to understand prices and fail with a cryptocurrency because having no knowledge of markets, finance, marketing etc. Most successful crypto are businesses and centralized. Some have business models but the network is decentralized so they have foundations taking decisions.

It could be a lesson in financial institutions that could teach the class about cryptocurrencies, the categories, the platforms used and more. Most universities when teaching finances they also teach the core scientific concepts behind price valuation of stocks and sometimes the basics and more advanced on the moving averages.

But I have read many posts about blockchain careers and blockchain engineer courses. There is a post that I couldn't find now but with some digging you can find, that has tens of universities that offer this education. So you are asking about something that already is given by many. The demand for blockchain engineers is very high in the technology sector and in cryptocurrency projects so you will easily find a good job, perhaps even remotely.

Learn about cryptocurrency is really hard. But it is illogical to include degree in university about cryptocurrency. I know cryptocurrency will lead in future. Everyone should know about it.  But degree in university is unnecessary.

Cryptography doesn't have anything to do with block chain, rather cryptography is the way to encode and decode text to hide valuable informations from lay man and can only be decode by the sender and receiver that would have met before then to agree on a secret key to use to encode the text

Your opinion and your proposal is very interesting so it is possible that it would happen because it would help a lot because as you say it is not something easy to handle, in fact it is possible that courses on cryptocurrencies are created in universities and not only online.

I dot not understand what degree is this you are asking for. A cryptocurrency degree? The cryptocurrencies are based on blockchain technology and this is taught in some universities, although I don't think they teach the Ethereum language. This perhaps the developers learn it from the ethereum devs websites.

Well I don't know about specific college that has degree in Crypto related subjects. But there are Program that are related to Blockchain you can study that in many countries.

For increasing knowledge in Crypto currency and Crypto market you should focus on Fundamentals Analysis at beginning and later you can go for Technical Analysis. There are huge number of free sources available online for learning them so you don't even need to pay for college fee too

Cryptocurrencies contain programming and cryptography. If this is what you want to be in Universities then there are some that have degrees on these for decades now. What you say means what exactly to make a university degree that does what else?
