Can Bitcoin influence other altcoins?

Bitcoin did play important role in the pump and dump of altcoins. Especially during the bull runs of Bitcoin we have seen huge spike of some altcoins like Eth, Ltc. And if we are trading altcoins or thinking to spend in altcoins we must keep an eye on Btc/altcoins chart so that we get to know the potential of coin against the btc.

Да биток очень сильно влияет на всю крипту, и это очень плохо, иногда не получаеться адекватно торговать из-за него, вроде бы нашел идеальный сета на какой-то альте, вошел, и все кажется прекрасно, то не проходит и полчаса как битов делает пролив и соответственно вся альта падает вместе с ним( Очень обидно!

i dont know how people dont notice this, everytime bitcoin dump even just 4% we see the whole market tumble down and altcoins start dumping 10% as we see it happening in the last 2 days.

Of course yes, BTC is influencing altcoin in a big percent and that is why most popular altcoins will grow at the same time with BTC. I have seen this even in 2020, BTC price was grow with ETH, LTC, LINK and many other popular altcoins.

I think bitcoin is already has influence for other altcoins, we can see it in this year, the beginning of this year was rough for crypto currency, Bitcoin went down and so all other coins did, that is dependence of all coins to bitcoin, though all the traders measure their altcoins in bitcoins

Well, that's true mate, many people are now already know this thing because there are some evidences to prove it, example of it is the price graph, almost the same into ripple and also ethereum and this is a good example for it.

If it influences since the sale or purchase of bitcoins indicate movement in the market, to this day there are other currencies used for the exchange of currencies such as stable coins or the same ethereum, however, the greatest market force still has bitcoin for such always influential motive to the crypto market

when bitcoin pumps you will see the other altcoins start dumping against btc but they will be going up in usd, altcoins only start going up when bitcoin holds still for a while.

Very well. There are many coins that the fluctuations of btc also affect.. In fact 2017, as bitcoin was rising and hit $20k, that influenced ETH to reach above $1300 too. I have discovered that as btc goes up in value, many coins follow suit and as it come down, many coins drop in value too.
