Can Bitcoin influence other altcoins?

When do you think that Bitcoin we start to influence other altcoins in the cryptocurrency market so that as is rising in price other altcoins will join it to rise as well, but not to see opposite side of it in other coins. Can Bitcoin actually influence other altcoins in 2020?

Yes of course because now all the market is counting on bitcoin, you can notice that when you follow the prices, so yes bitcoin is the most responsible for other coin's prices

Actually yes because when we recall the history of it, the bitcoin meets the successful, it reaches the high price and also there are many people interested to bitcoin, when the bitcoin meets the successful, there are many ICO's that are releasing some coins to reached the level of bitcoin but their price are depends only to the price of bitcoin.

Not just in 2020 but anytime bitcoin will continue on influencing other altcoins the reason being once bitcoin starts going up lots of people sell their altcoins to buy bitcoin so they dont miss out on the bitcoin bull run this results in altcoins getting smaller price when bitcoin moves up.

Absolutely yes, Bitcoin is the no 1ranked Cryptocurrency and father of all crytpo Market, Bitcoin influences all altcoins price when btc suddenly pumps or dumps. It has large influence on certain alts in long term.

Yes, I think bitcoin has a major effect on altcoins. It is because altcoins are always depending on the value of Bitcoin. If it goes down, altcoins will follow to fall also.

Yes I have noticed that many days, Bitcoin affects other cryptocurrencies, the price of other coins increases when Bitcoin price rises and the price of other coins decreases as Bitcoin prices fall, my opinion is that Bitcoin affects other coins.

If you ask about influence the price, yes actually Bitcoin already do it when the market is opened. I think all altcoin is have a pair trading with Bitcoin. So from that small or big will affected for the price. When Bitcoin going down for the price, some altcoin also follow it, you can see now many price in red zone.

Yes its possible to happen because Bitcoin is on top and the mother of all crypto currency for me. Sometimes some Altcoins depends to Bitcoins so the result if Bitcoin's value decrease Altcoin's value also decrease.

Definitely altcoins price depends so much on Bitcoin's price, go check the market everytime Bitcoinis down all altcoins follows and whenever Bitcoin's price surges altcoins follows too, sowe can confirm that they all depend on Bitcoin's price.

I don't think that bitcoin have any effect on other altcoins directly. Everything depends on the market situation and market value. When bitcoin starts bull run means that investment is going on very rapidly. So market gets rich. But according to the investments on other coins their price differs not by depending on bitcoin.

of course, because in my opinion bitcoin is often the price reference point for new altc to be released. and this year the influence of bitcoin on altc is very high, when bitcoin prices go down altc also go down. but cannot happen otherwise. maybe the influence of bitcoin on altc will continue to occur in 2020.

what do you mean doesnt have a great impact? did you see the last bull run from 3.2k to 14k this year? all altcoins were rekt during this bull run so yes bitcoin affect altcoins very much.

There's something you don't understand about bitcoin influencing altcoins because the standard and the experience of the altcoin played huge part in the survive level of an altcoin before bitcoin can actually influence it.

In 2020 I think Bitcoin can affect other bitcoin prices. It could be that when the price of Bitcoin goes up, altcoin actually goes down, and vice versa.

Yes, bitcoin is influencing all altcoin when bitcoin in green altcoins in the dump and when bitcoin is dumping altcoin is dumping too but when bitcoin becomes stable the altcoins are surely pumping hard.

Definitely yes. According to my knowledge the bitcoin price will obviously effect the other altcoins. But i am confused that if the btc price rise then the altcoins will increase or decrease. Hopefully the price of the altcoins also increases. But many experienced persons say many altcoins will be omitted due to this. If price increases then why they will omit.

I personally think that bitcoin actually influences the price of some altcoins, if you are to compare the trend they would tend to move they same way as bitcoin.

Off course bitcoin have strong influence on other alt coins. You can see when btc pumps or dumps alts are bleeding and when it goes upward with stability alts also move nicely
