Not only with bitcoin rise if all market cap rises alt coins also rises with bitcoin. and if only bitcoin dominance rises than alts dumps due to sudden rise or dump of bitcoin prices.

I would prefer Altcoins as it is now. I don't want then to blend together with bitcoin. But maybe if it's in future once altcoins become stable, it may be great. Most of the Altcoins are already unstable so if it is to blend with bitcoin, it may seem rather difficult to invest on them. So,  bitcoin may influence them in future but not soon enough.

Not security, but influence. Because it's the pair that makes altcoin very dependent on bitcoin. So bitcoin direction will determine altcoin direction too.

Most of the currencies out there that are not stable coin are very dependent to bitcoin price. Once the bitcoin price will goes down, they will also goes down and once the bitcoin will increase then they will also follow.

It is obvious that when Bitcoin is dropping the rest of the altcoins are dropping even harder. Most of them at least twice as much. Even Ethereum has the same movements. It is Bitcoin that dominates the crypto space and the rest still have a long way to go, to reach Bitcoin's decentralization levels and security of it's network.
