Its not actually smallest coin but its just a part of the of the coin and the smallest part/portion/share of any crypto coin is satoshi which is the last digit =1 instead of 0.

I believe that the smallest unit in a dogecoin is also referred to as satoshi for dogecoin. I have made use of many faucets over the last few years that i have been engaged with crypto, and i found this to be the case when the faucets do advertise for their earning rates. However, when speaking of it you of course have to specify that you are relating it to dogecoin, so as to not confuse the units with that of bitcoin.

I don't think there is, nor is a name defined to denominate small fractions of Dogecoin or many other cryptocurrencies, for example in the faucets they usually call them satoshis of "X" currency and with that they identify the amount.

I think that for all cryptocurrencies the smallest unit is called satoshis but dogecoin would be called for example sathosis dogecoin that is how the smallest part of dogecoin is called.

I don't really know if the dogecoin coin will have a name when this coin is divided into smaller parts, but I would think that it is called satoshis as most of the crypt coins are called considering that the first digital coin when divided into smaller parts was so called.

In my opinion, the high price of bitcoin requires designating the smallest unit in Bitcoin by mentioning satoshis. When compared to Doge, the price is very cheap, so there is no mention of the smallest unit. In bitcoin and satoshi, this is similar to dollars and cents.

Could all cryptocurrency creaters call the smallest portion of their currency like their names? Satoshi might be a simple and easy noun, but there are complex nouns that cannot be a noun for a piece of a currency.

Definitely it's Satoshi as like to other. Because all the altcoin has the same smallest value name. And this is because  to make things simple not to make complicated. Because if all the altcoin  have other small quantity name then this will be complicated.

This is uknown, because it doesn't exist as a term. Dogecoin doesn't have a name like Satoshi or bits for the lowest denominations of the coin. It wasn't supposed to either as it is already very low in value and has very high number of coins in circulation.

I thought that for doge the shortest unit was also called satoshi but it was wrong. I checked the internet and there is no name for less than 1 doge, it is only doge and the rest have no name at all. It can be worth naming the units less than a doge, if the price goes higher as it is very low right now.

there is no such name for this currency yet but I think it would be the doge sat just like the btc sat but there is no use of it yet as the coin is too low priced to use in its parts.

I don't know this one, perhaps dogetoshi. It could be a fine name if it is not used like litecoin has stolen everything from Bitcoin and calls it liteoshi same can be with Doge, why not.
