Where will my legacy of Bitcoin go after my death?

i think a lot of us miss out on thinking about death and how to leave their crypto money to the ones they are close to, because now we are focused more on securing our money and forgetting what will happen when we die.

Yes, that's the sad truth. They just forget that they have families when they are in crypto. That's why when they die, the money that they've earn for their family will not be used because they don't trust even their family to hold or continue their crypto.

This is what I really do. I teach my children about the meaning of bitcoin and value of cryptocurrency, and the beautiful thing about it is that they understand me more than adults.

That's great to know. Hope other members of cryptoworld are like you that even in their child, they'll teach them how to use crypto. I hope that your child will also leave a legacy in cryptoworld. Good day.

We need to choose the right family members so you can trust him/her to keep your crypto asset, and they can use it properly. You can tell them and teach them how to use crypto, so when you died, they can use and continue for what you've done. You can hope that they will use crypto for the right thing, and they will not use crypto for any illegal things. You can tell them that with crypto, they will have a chance to have a wealthy life because they can have assets that can increase any time. But don't forget to keep your assets before you died and only give to the right person.

You can make a duplicate and thereby write to your parent. You can transfer tools to store passwords from a cryptocurrency wallet.

.

yea and this will also result in the decreasing of the circulating supply of bitcoin because the bitcoin might end up locked in the account of private wallet for years, which is why i gave the passwords to my accounts to my brother just in case something happened to me.

That's good move, pal. You entrust your account to your brother. I hope other members of this forum do the same things as you do.

Unfortunately, my family doesn't know what crypto is. I'm telling to them that even though it's hard to understand, they can do it. I hope that they'll change their mind and accept it, pal.

We never know if we die and leave a crypto legacy, letting you share your account and entering your password with your relatives. then I have a story about that, yeah, there is the biggest holder of bitcoin adoption, then he dies and no one knows his account and password, so he loses inheritance.

I think they've not be forced. They will be curious but of course, I will need to teach them about it but I think they will not forced to join here because they don't need to interrupt on what I do.

Yes it's nice question there are many ways where your money will go after your death .

1) If you marry then you will have a kids you distribute your money among your kids equally.

2) If you marry but don't have kids you have a lot of money or some amount of money then you and your wife can go to a trip or you can give it to the charity.

3) If you don't marry then waste all the money on youself you do whatever you want from that money.

4) If you die early then you are foolish because you are are saving it for future which have no future so according to me if you earn some money please do use of it you can spend on your parents on your girlfriend on your boyfriend and specially on you.

The family member you entrust it with must be truly trustworthy. If you hold significant amounts, things might change. If they knew what you're doing in the first place (crypto), then disclosing your private keys isn't an issue.

You must also pick a friend whom isn't greedy. At any moment, he/she could mislead your family member, making them send the coins to that friend's address and then just vanish.

will be stored in your wallet forever, unless you pass down the password, wordsheet, keystore, or private key from your wallet to your heirs before you actually die.

Well, Hal Finney give his bitcoins and even his bitcointalk account to his kids after his death, I don't see what's the use of leaving more bitcoin inaccessible. 40% Of all the bitcoins in circulation have been lost (damaged hardware walled, forgotten private key etc) I heard.

Why are you looking for another faucet in signatures like mine, cryptotalk is the best earnings site. 😉

I think you better make an archive on a piece of hardware that you might be able to give to one of your descendants you can trust to be able to continue to develop your crypto assets. and you need to give an explanation and a little learning to your offspring while you are still healthy and feel old enough for your offspring.

And we trust each other with our things

Don't you have kids? Or you plan to live single. Legacy should be given to your descendants. But it's okay if you don't have children.

Nope I don't have children and hell no I don't plan on living single

Then why hurry to hand over to your siblings. As I said, legacy should be given to your child. But it's all up to you. I wonder if you live in an area where the mortality factor is very huge?

I have started teaching my brother about crypto and i am thinking about sharing my wallet keys and different exchanges account details with him.if something happened to me.He will use it for family. So my today investment will help them in future.May be i would be not with them but my wealth would help in comfort leaving.

Same mate! I am also making my little brother learn about crypto currencies and I think he is pretty good at it now. I'm also thinking to share some private keys with him so that if something happens to me he'll take care of the family!

That will be what we need to do if we want to help our family to have a better life in the future. We can share with them what we have and teach them so they can continue for what we did, and they can use it to grow what we have, and they can also have a chance to get wealthy. But we need to share with the trust and the right person so they will help us to grow the investment so it can give benefits to them.

Perhaps it is a good idea to hand over his private keys to his siblings for the time being, but after he has children who realize the meaning of crypto, he must teach them, create a new wallet, and new passwords and keep them with his children.

Legacy means that people who inherited it is already under the soil. So I confuse why such a hurry. People want to live forever, and he can't simply save it and later give the children.

No one knows when it will end. There are those who die while a young man and there are those who live to become old and then die, but we really do not know when. So it is better to make our family benefit from our legacy rather than get lost.

Understood, but not now while you still breathing. Do you know why people chasing treasure? Because there is a treasure map. And the owner of the maps is a skeleton. Lol
