Its really hard to gauge which coin are best to buy and which coin are good to sell for short term trade. You need to be in front of you PC for longer time to study different market, You should choose a high volume coin where price swing happens almost everyday like dash, eth and LTC.

For short term trading you should trade bitcoin because it has high volume so it is good to trade and make money. I can not say bitcoin is a profitable because it depends your strategy in trading.

Did you take a look for daytrading at the top movers in yobit ? There you see coins which are traded most often. That's where you can earn money in daytrading. In general keep away from coins with low trading volume.

Short term trading can be done only in the season of alt coins. Like we are seeing now a days, every single coins whether it large caped or small caped are pumping like hell. It is better to join some good channels and websites whom give experts advice to buy/sell a coin.

To u can try to use bitcoin or trade with doge. Ripple is also very good for trading.
