We are constantly talking about cryptocurrencies wallets. We talk about wallets created especially through mobile and browser. But we ignore that the main thing to discuss is paper and hardware wallets. Because these are the most reliable crypto assets keep safe methods!

Today we want to tell you about the paper wallet's.
I want to help those who have never used paper wallets before and don't know how to create one.

Before starting this process, please make sure your computer is secure and clean your browser's cache.

Then go to: https://www.bitaddress.org/

 

As you can see above, when you reached the website, your btc wallet will be started to creating.

Please keep moving your mouse and wait for it'll reach %100.

Then you will see you bitcoin wallets information.

 

 

Key note: You can create your wallets when you are offline. So I suggest, clean your cache, visit the website and turn off your internet connection. Then start keep moving your mouse, fill the progress until it reach %100. then you can see your wallets information. You can print it offline or write it somewhere safe. 
 

 

You will be reached your private key. You can use it anywhere you want. For example blockchain.info

paper wallet before, and I don't know how to make it. I have a general idea about it. We know that paper wallets are security wallets like other online wallets that protect our crypto coins.

I think you didn't understand the subject well. This is not have common thing with Coinbase or Blockchain wallets. These are online wallet and always connected with 3rd party application.

 

But with paper wallets, all control is belong to you.

Hardware wallets are expensive so I use paper wallets for a cold storage wallet. Sometimes I even lose track of how many paper wallets i have, they are so many, and that is good do not keep all your money on one paper waller.

A paper wallet is actually the safest way to store your bitcoins, but the problem is that this topic is for a fairly narrow circle of people who have a fortune in cryptocurrency.

I didn't create any paper wallet for btc. mainly I store some btc in my hardware wallet and some is stored in coinbase wallet. as my asset is not high so I didn't create paper wallet.

No, but early on I'd thought about it and researched ways to do it.

 

Here's an idea:  if it's bitcoin we're talking about, put it all into an Electrum wallet and write down the seed phrase.  Bam, you've got a paper wallet right there.  No need for a bunch of steps, and you just have to keep it safe like any other paper wallet.

 

As I've said before, I prefer hardware wallets.  You can only generate one paper wallet per coin of the kind OP is talking about, whereas with my seed phrase method you can have the phrase for a bunch of different coins.  Anyway, it works for me.

I do not see the point in creating such a wallet, because I do not store any huge amounts on my wallets, I would rather not bother and will use an online wallet.

I know for this site long time ago, but I did not know that I can create paper wallet too.

And I think that (paper wallet) is good thing, but I have one question if for example I withdraw/sell some coins from that paper wallet on ATM for example (not all) can I make second transaction from same paper wallet? Or I must to sell all coins from that paper wallet? I never use before paper wallet.

Good one I have created one for me, this wallet is good for storing in a long term if you plan to store Bitcoin for two to three years or more and keep it in a safe, then this is a very good option to use, it's important that we do have at least one paper wallet.

I do not crated any paper wallet for holding btc.I hold my btc only blockchain wallet also i used bittrex and binance wallet for hold and safe trading.

There is also another website called  bitcoinpaperwallet .com from where we can generate paper wallet. paper wallet are best for storing btc for long term safely  , no one can hack your btc

Can someone explain me what are the advantages and disadvantages of using this kind of wallet? Because I don't really know whether I need this wallet or not.

True! Be careful what tool or site you use for creating a paper wallet. If someone else knows your seed phrase, they also have access to your wallet.

There are some instructions online on safe ways to create paper wallets. Follow those, for your own security.

Making a paper wallet is not a waste of time, you could have as many copies as you can, i like to store some of my copy in my private clod storage and some hard copy in my physical wallet.

I have created paper wallets as gifts a few times. Create the wallet, print it, package it nicely, and put a small amount of money on it.

 

In fact, yesterday I gave each of my kids a paper wallet with $25 in Bitcoins to celebrate the start of 2020, with the request to keep the Bitcoins until 2025 before looking how much is on there.
