I think that everything will be clear for you once you read the whitepaper and the first emails Satoshi send to the cryptographers. It is easy after that and after reading some of the Satoshi forum posts to learn what he thought when he decided to create Bitcoin.

I had the exactly same question my friend! But I don't think that earn as you think of it was in Satoshi mind and he doesn't care a lot if you earn money by promoting Bitcoin. Also you didn't even say the word Bitcoin but something like crytocurrency that makes you look very bad at doing this.

Good day mate. I think the whole idea of creating bitcoin and other coins is to have a decentralised financial system that is free from external interference by other people( govt, influencial people). A system that gives the people autonomous control over their finances without government's restrictions, tax or regulations. This is indeed an applaudible project that will serve humanity in the long run because currently it is serving the purposes for which it was created.

Normally cryptocurrencies were created to cure the financial crisis, according to some articles which I was reading about the financial crisis of 2008, only that it did not take great importance at that time but it may in the future be the cure of the crisis.
