CryptoTalk Forum - what to add?

I have a suggestion to add the Arabic language.  Because Arabs are banned from many forums.  And recently I noticed a strong turnout of Arabs to the yobit platform, as it is a platform that does not contain racism or discrimination and does not prohibit anyone.  Many Arabs trust the yobit platform and make the exchange process on the platform.  The forum should take this into consideration and make a section for Arabs and the Arabic language.  In order to overcome the wrong translation of Google

What do you guys think about creating a separate board for the Lightning Network?

 

In my opinion it is the technology that can give the father of cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin) a new life and take the whole crypto space to the next evolutionary stage.

 

Yet, Lightning Network is severely underrated and its development seems to be "a whole separate process", which deserves taking a close look at and a thorough analysis.

Specially to the part of "other languages subforum" I know it's already considered but, still I like this part: There are many people I saw writing in Spanish; it's not like they are against the rules, it's simply they don't master English or Russian. Sometimes they use a translator, but it's really unfriendly to be using something like that to interact in a forum.

 

- A clear rules about when we can use the other sections. I tried to write on Crypto World (for instance) and I couldn't create a thread or reply to someone... some people doesn't go out from Beginners sections because they feel they are not welcomed in the rest of the forum.

In my opinion,

1.forum own token wallet option should be there in every user profile that easily receive and send the tokens.

2.Forum should own p2p trading platform that every one can buy and sell tokens.

 

Benefits. 

The fees from above mentioned platfrom will used by more innovation and development of the forum.

I think the administrator should add this to the Mining section:

 

Marketplace - would be a Mining subsection where people would sell and buy mining stuff

 

Discussion about altcoin mining - would be in the Mining subsection

 

Bitcoin mining discussion - would be in the Mining subsection

Something like: If you are posting news stories/breaking news, remember to add a source link for the original story or where you did originally read it. 

 

I've lately encountered few of these breaking news -style of topics, that are not linking to any source we can confirm the story. They are just telling the story like they are reporters breaking it from the site, and sometimes they quoting people who were giving statements or interviews about it, but they don't say where they said so, like they themselves would be reporters who did the interview.

 

Every single reputable news site gives credits for the site that broke the news originally, so why wouldn't our posters have to? If we want to build reputable quality forum this would be one of those steps to take. And honestly it sometimes feels just annoying to google it by myself just to check if the news story isn't misunderstood false news, or just a rumor that op started.

I think the forum should create an application where all the members can submit their any issue related to crypto talk. I think here we should discuss and share different informative things and there should be a separate system to guide and train the new members soecially. Its just an idea that hit in my mind after reading this post.

I think that there can be a pinned post in this section that explains the features and tools available in the cryptotalk. 

 

The tools that I have marked with blue pen are very important for creating an attractive and constructive post. So admin can do a contest for creating a post of that type which explain every tool and feature of cryptotalk and can add that post to pinned section. Also it will be great reputation for anyone whose post is being pinned in the forum.

I see that many mention some things but no one has suggested the following:

 

1) the creation of a telegram group, which is mandatory to join when registering ( This could decrease the number of newbies creating topics by asking questions that can be easily solved in a chat )

2) limits when posting topics (this is what I mean by the imposition of having a certain range or number of publications to be able to create topics in some sections)

Dear admins and moderators,

 

Please, add the related articles feature in the forum.

If we reply to any topic we will see the next unread topic and popular now, but all these topics are different from the topic that we are replying to. The main purpose of this forum is to provide crypto knowledge to its members, so adding related articles to each topic will be even easier for anyone to learn! 

 

Example:

I have read an article on how to invest in litecoin, then i would happy if i will see related articles at the bottom of the topic that I am replying to, maybe related topics that show me how to make LTC analysis, the right time to buy or selling LTC, and extra. This will be good for all members, it will be easy to gain knowledge by reading different suggested topics but related to each other. And of course, it will be the easiest way to detect copied articles and delete them, only related articles which have different knowledge will be left.

As a member of the forum, I seek, through useful ideas, to develop this platform and raise it to the top.

As for I suggest that evaluation tables be designed for each group for each post and to gather the most effective members and promote them. Thus, competition and interaction within the platform will increase.

1. The next time payment is restored in the English section (very unlikely at this time, but still...) please make the number of posts requirement for unlocking payments to 1000 posts. Sure, mods can detect and punish most offending members before they reach 100 posts, but that doesn't stop others from making new accounts and repeating the same offense anyway.

 

"100 posts? Too easy." 😂 I'd bet this is what they were thinking at the time when they made those alleged bot farms smh.

 

1000 posts should be a good enough deterrent for bot farmers. And members who will manage to reach 1000 posts are generally more well-behaved due to the fact that they will have much to lose if they get banned.

 

I know, I know, this suggestion has been posted numerous times already. This is just a friendly reminder 🙂

 

2. Please clean up the English Beginners section and do a repost of the rules for that section just like this one (link). Only crypto-related and forum crypto payment questions should remain. The rest goes into the Off Topic section or deleted altogether. One should just look at the current Russian's Beginners section and see how much relevant the topics are to crypto than the one we have on the English section.
