Can alternative coins disappear completely?

Coins coming from projects which has no long term vision plus strong supports will surely not survive too long in the cryptocurrency markets. Such coins will be disappeared very quickly. You may have also seen so many pump and dump coins and also they will not survive for a long time in the cryptocurrency markets. Good coins should be adopted by crypto community and should be demanded to adopt.

I didn't didn't think that all coin dispared , I agree that there is still many coin , after their launch they die completely . there is some coin who makes good position in market . we need to research properly before investing in any project .

I agree with you mate I also think coins with less of benefits on the market will not survive for so long but those with benefits or most used will definitely survive along side Bitcoin.

There are over 5000 altcoins, the first 100 altcoins are strong coins, some are even stable coins which can not extint. We do not even think of only one coin to extinct, we are talking about the where altcoin, which ks not possible to disappear.

That is the reality, many coin now are gone circulating in the market, it simply they are forgotten or losing community support or maybe migrating to another innovative project. Well there is no permanent in this planet.

Yes, I am worried about the alternative coins, therefore I only buy coins that have the potential to be traded, I only buy bitcoin and ETH for transactions, both coins in my opinion will not die, if investing here there will be no biggest loss. is buying and selling at the right time.

They can , and the truth is, most of them  have gone down, and some gone to zero thats the worst that can happen to any one coin, some with no road map always end up in zeros.

Successful coins always have a backing a very powerful backing and in the end they always have ideas that are easy to sell.

No mate altenative coins will not disappear because they are important and many people are using them to invest. Maybe tokens and ico will disappear but not alternative coins.

Since they like to be in business its hard to disappear because sometimes even the owners can not stop their own coin, but the fall of bitcoin  could make these coins, some of them at least disappear

Put the question the other way. Should Yobit remove dead coins from their marketplace? Yes, absolutely. I don't need to remind you, that altcoins always went head to head with BTC, it ain't going to change. Not that you can mine BTC anymore, a good alternative for once.

They won't disappear completely. But it is quite possible to lose its value. Especially considering how some coins have recently fallen in price due to fluctuations in the market.

Alts in general have a future like you say there is not doubt in my mind, but not to invest heavily because just like SKYMAX and RUSSIAN MINER  coins there will always be coins that will die eventually.

Imagine a NEW crypto with the Name 'Rope' has a trading volume of over 5 millions usd on uniswap. A visit to the website 'https://rope.lol/" has a BOLD Image of a hanging rope with further inscription 'Do not buy it' followed with a grinding face that looked like someone who got scammed. 

In a summary, the webpage is saying. do not buy 'ROPE' you could loose everything and you will regret it. But the reverse is the case.  As a matter of fact. this token made 118%
 within 24 hours of listing and have a volume of 5 millions usd on Uniswap.
My observation on this. Most people no longer care about the objectives of a project. they just want to Make GAINS.
the days of do your Research is fast diminishing and most market users cared less about what they do with their money that they can invest on a project with BOLD description "this is a scam' as long as there is a return.

I do not think so, the probability of disappearance of cryptocurrencies is almost impossible and it is unlikely to happen. There are many companies and businesses supported under this. Cryptocurrencies are here to stay and will play a fundamental pillar in future economies.

If you mean alternative tokens to bitcoin (altcoins), unfortunately  yes, they can disappear, it may be scam token that listed on small cryptocurrency exchanges with very small circulation, then it definitely can disappear, because no one is interested in it. This token doesn't give users any benefits or profits, doesn't close any problem.

I think it would be impossible for all altcoins to disappear completely unless there is extreme censorship where the government monitors every movement every second.

I don't think so, I'm even one of those who believes that little by little more and more altcoins appear looking to get ahead in this crypto world. Diversity is good, but there comes a time when it overwhelms you, you already go almost 2000 altcoins. At some point it will have to stop, although I don't know how it could be controlled, or if it is even possible, but imagine for the future we would have tens of thousands of altcoins and then it would be quite a challenge to decide on some. Others will disappear because they will simply not be feasible or viable in time and will lose.

I mean obviously there is always a small possibility of something bad like that happening but I don't think it will, there are many good altcoins nowadays that have great potential in my opinion, also they still have space to grow even more
