Is gamling addiction?

Recommended Posts

Gambling is very addictive many people always do this because hoping that they can easily make rich with gambling but the reality it will make you poor because ur money will suddenly fade away if you lose. Much better if you have really extra money to gambling and dont use all your money in gambling.

Yes gambling is very addictive.  The stimulation of gambling games triggers the release of dopamine and neuro-receptors in your brain. This is just like when you enjoy candy, sex, drugs, alcohol, and other pleasure focused activities. When you experience this sensory overload for extended periods your brain starts to normalize this behavior and adapts to the environment of having a large amount these feel good chemicals. Once the activity is stopped, or in this case, you stop gambling - your brain is no longer flooded with dopamine and seratonin. This is why we may have an urge to gamble when we are not gambling. This is why we have cravings.  At first they can just be minor cravings which we easily disregard or dismiss. But after you have been gambling for weeks or months at a time with very little rest in between and then suddenly stop, for example if you run out of money, then these cravings can be very intensive and overwhelming. As a result, the addicted gambler may resort to stealing money from friends and family or even resorting to other criminal activity. This is the very definition of addiction and to those saying it is not an addiction, they truly have no idea what they are talking about. Yes it’s absolutely addicting.

True. The problems faced by them are not just financial. Too much time spent on gambling can also lead to relationship and legal problems, job loss, mental health problems including depression and anxiety, and even suicide.

Yes sister☺️, i'm with you in all that, I will just add, that the most of divorces, in the United States of America happen because of this virus, also gambling and alcohol, these two addictions are always together and definitely will destroy and kill you ☠️, if you didn't find a way, to stop it and get out of this big mess.☘️

Online games can be very complex or easy, but remember that everything can be addictive, if we are not so careful, you just need to be able to stop at least temporarily. As a result, gambling is neither bad nor good.

I do not advise anyone to embark on these games because there are many unfavorable factors to their victory, we know that these games can be manipulated, and we also know that the human being is prone to addiction, the closer to winning the more wants to win, only that always ends losing most of the time, and it can make you addicted and broke.

Gambling is a recreational activity, it makes you satisfied and happy but if you can't control it, it can lead to addiction like you can't stop yourself from doing it even though you're wasting your money. If you know your limitations, it will not lead to addiction.

You do know its called gambling because you can't control the outcome of the game or predict whats is happening next so you're placing everything out just for luck and waiting to either win or lose. Thats always a stupid way to lose money.

Those betting games is kinda addicting because of the fact that it is a easy money out of all games. You tend to bet and bet because you are winning and you tend to bet again because you want to earn back the money that you have lost.

And apart from winning there are people who does not ewin at all but they still gable i have few friends from a dice site who does not win but still gamble.

I think the main reason why they still gamble is because they want to win back the money that they have lost. After they win it back, they will play again for them to have a money. That is why it is just a cycle and very addicting.

Well a friend told me that he does not count his loss, he's just gambling for fun, for him it's a way of avoiding drinking up all the money, instead he gambles with it, When he lose, he says it was drinking money anyway.. LOL.

Gambling can be an addiction, but not every people that gamble are addicts. It becomes an addiction when you cannot resist the urge to play and you start to loose money that was not included on your gambling budget...

It is very important to pay attention to the signs and move away from gambling if you start to fill them... a whole lot of people lost everything this way

All he do make rain of those 65 ltc and broke phone and laptop. But for him to lost such money its nothing cause he was afford to lose. So if you are addicted in gambling dont do this with money which you are not afford to live.

Yeap, It's addiction but depends on the people i think, My friends and community was almost all addictive to gambling and i'm always seduced to play gambling too, I play but i didn't have any interest. I mean gambling it's addictive but it's also depends on the people mindset, While he can withstand the desire you will out from gambling for sure, Cheers!

I think when a person gambles a lot, he has to focus on his earning:gambling ratio and always make sure that his earning is more than what he gambles away. This way he can earn and save more than gambling it all away.

Well it's my experienced and i want to share, mainly some people that playing gambling didn't thinking like that, they just have delusion to get some big money and depends on their luck and i think it's little bit hard for people like this to save their earning, after their win especially if big amount, they just play again (greed). The best choice i think just stay away from something like that, Cheers!

Agreed. Staying away from gambling is the best thing one can do. Just not to be anywhere wherever gambling is promoted. Because it is really hard for a gambler to leave gambling completely and thus they need to do self discipline.

Yeap, i happy someone have same mindset with me, Just stay away from gambling if you can it's better to try trading or maybe invest on some cryptourrency than gambling, it's give you new knowledge like reading indicator, etc. Good luck all of you and stay safe!

Gamblers is like a disease, and so-Yes, as well as dependence on nicotine or any other drug, but it will not lead to anything good

Gambling is good for fun and excitement but it could be very dangerous if you lose your control on yourself. If you fall in temptation by addiction you will be almsman.

Exactly I'm agree with your opinion. Gambling is addictive. Cause if we start playing dice game and get in loss then it hurt our mind and we start playing again to get back that losses money. It’s seems to me very addictive.

Gambling addictive result is very bad so playing gambling for entertainment is better than addictive , and if we loss in gambling again and again then we need to take a break.

Yes its addicting, specially when you started winning and winning and once you lose your goal again is to win so you will try and try again. And that routines happen to my friend when she started gambling. So if you dont want to be like that dont start it.

I'm fine though now that, i do not gamble I avoid gambling sites as much as I can, And i have been clean for almost a year now.

I agree with this, anything that is beyond control is being addictive. Gambling for me is just a past time or a time for you to be entertain or what but it somehow could be an addiction to those who exceed with the time that you usually a lot for it.
