It is right. Investments in cryptocurrencies are high risk due to the volatility that exists in them. I already have the idea that good results can be obtained when investments are long-term.

Yeah many individuals make mistakes when trying to make investment especially here in cryptocurrency,  one have to make a thorough research before investing his money on any cryptocurrency.  Their are scammers waiting for people to make mistake so that they can take advantage of them.

I think those who do mistakes are beginners and new to the crypto industry, but I guess mistakes are positive in one side, I mean they teach users to not do the same fault again, so to eliminate a loss probability in the future investments

That's true, let be patient and learn from this forum, if we rush to do things we have little knowledge about ,we may fail, am taking my time to learn before I try to invest or to trade in the cryptocurrency world

People should be patient and should not jump into a new coin just because they see a huge profit potential. We should do a background check on the history  of the company issuing the coin and see if the guys are planning to run a legit coin.

My first investment was a mistake, thank God I did not invest with lots of money, I bought some dlrs at about 29 Satoshi and invested it in the yobit investbox, I thought the price will be stable for about some days, the price started dumping very fast ,I had to council the investment and buy BTC with the money, have made some investment before @Cleaner and @M.bello

The objective of true investors is to have a knowledge in running a money in investing. I chose DLRS and Water Token to invest.  However, the price of these two tokens suddenly dumped a lot.  But I'm not scared of the price yet.  Investment is the key to success.  So we have to choose long to invest.  So I will keep it for a long time.  And I will sell it when the price is good. @Jaafar Fahad Hassan

The mistake that many people make when investing is ignorance of the business as such. In other words, many people invest in a certain digital currency without knowing and investigating first. For example, they only think they see a good opportunity without knowing the beginning and the history of what they are going to invest. Risk taking is one of the key factor that determine one success in trading but to be sincere all this new coins that are been introduce to us every day are full scam, so is adviceable to avoid that mistake of investing in a new coin that had no formal legalization in digital market.
