  1. If someone out there is not panic, how can you accumulate some more, I mean the dip. People who have invested at thehe peak are the one who panic the most because you know they have lost a lot already and sometimes it's be frustrated, panic is one of the output from the bubble lover, hehe.
  2. It's very possible to steal your coin if you are not aware of possible malware etc. For avoid this, I would like to share some tips with you. 1. Don't install unauthorized software Hackers will ask you to download software and install it to increase your hash power. It may seem true, they will share proof (fake), and you may get interested. But this will rip you off of you install the program. Check the software authenticity. Don't install anything which is not authorized. 2. Never rush to click link Before you click any link shared here which may seem correct (electrum.org), check the background of the link. For example, I may write electrum.org and use link of fake electrum website. 3. Wallet update It's almost same as the 1st one, you may get some thread where hacker will ask you to update a wallet. Always check the official announcement in their website and their bitcointalk thread. There are a lot of ways to steal your coin, these are very common tricks used by hackers. Suggest more, I will update the thread.
  3. Ah, I see. Then I'm sure I have given it as something sad from it. I was not totally aware that it can harm his reputation. Sorry, xBDT. I didn't mean anything negative with that emo. It was as simple as like "Oh, that's sad."
  4. If I can remember correctly, there was a sad emo before which I have given? If I have given it later, I can certainly say that I was not totally aware of that. I have learnt it before last night when I received PM from @DIY Tube Video
  5. Chance is very low. Almost all the low volume coin has no use. They all were at some point pump and dump shit. 99.99% time certain that you gonna lose. However, risking 0.05 BTC would not a bad idea, imagine 1 sat to 100 sat. lol
  6. Much easier way but not effective much ๐Ÿ˜‹ ETH is one of the greatest ICO which bring a lot of edition to Bitcoin, you can't deny that. With ICO, there's not much project bring something good to the community. But you can't deny that there are a lot of spaces, developing the model of bitcoin would be good for toward the Satoshi's goal, a trustless currency and more convenient. I was talking about MimbleWimble in other thread and there's a process through which you can minimize the total blockchain size. The bitcoin blockchain will be approx 6 TB within 2140, well, by that time may be 6 TB will not be much to download but what's wrong if we have a way to minimize it? Nothing na? So, I always welcome ICO. By the way, the topic is about detecting SCAM ICO, not scam coin. Hopefully you did read this line ๐Ÿ˜ It's not good to quote a topic @Devh
  7. And what about the reputation abuse which has been happened with him? I have created a thread as well but no one responded. I didn't mention you there though. This upvote and downvote system is very much stupid edition because it can easily be abused, which is the case of this guy.
  8. Do you think deleted posts will be counted towards the contest? Come on brother, that will not be counted. At the end, only post which have value will be counted and I bet some people may miss the top as well even though they are in top.
  9. We have seen a golden time of ICO back in early 2017, and later, scammers started to create ICO and scam people's money. After that time, very few legit ICO we have seen. More than 90% ICO was scam. Now, how can you detect the scam ICOs? This is a very hard question to answer. Scammers are very smart to come in such a way so that we can't detect them and invest our money. People are being scammed all the time by them. Here, I will try to share a simple guide with you which can detect 90% of the scam ICO, rest 10% scam ICO is smart enough to not being detected. They will cover all these. 1. Check Team Scam ICO will certainly come up with fake team. You can simple search with the image and find out if the team is fake or not. Search with each of the team member photos in google or in shutterstock. Most scammers never use their image and use image from internet, as a result you can easily find it out. 2. Check Whitepaper Check their whitepaper if the whitepaper is plagiarized or not. Scammers simply copy from various whitepaper and use this in their whitepaper. You can do it with various free resource of plagiarism check available on the internet. 3. Check their bounty Listen, although it sounds funny, I bet it can detect 90% scam ICO. First of all, scam ICO always go with shit bounty manager who have no reputation at all. Because this manager can be hired with ICO coin/token. Reputed bounty managers will never work for ICO coin. Now, why I think bounty manager with token/coin payment projects can be fake? Because, if a project don't have money to promote them, how can they be legit? Can a project start with zero balance at hand? No certainly. If the project don't have money to promote their project, 90% sure that the project will be scam. I'm looking for more from other members, I will add more once I get some more things to add or someone recommend anything else.
  10. Please check this profile- https://cryptotalk.org/profile/228-diy-tube-video/ This user has earned -77 negative reputation here. This is clearly an abuse of the system. Now, we everyone is restricted when we react on post/topics. I'm not sure if daily limitation is 5 or more. However, If I'm correct, I have seen his profile in positive yesterday too. But now it has turned into negative. All the people who reacted on his post is certainly alt account. I'm looking for a step on it from admin. Just have seen his thread, well, but what about the alt account who are abusing the system. @Admin @epidemia @DIY Tube Video
  11. The price have been decrease drastically for all the coins, there's nothing to do with any specific coins. People either have switched to BTC or have got out from the market.
  12. If you are a long term holder of Bitcoin, the risk is very low. On case of other coins, because of less demand, projects may get disappear. This is where the risk relies. If you are a short term trader, understanding the move is very much important. You can lose significant amount over night because of FUD. The vice versa, you can gain huge as well. Risk and Return are co-related one with another. More risk = More return.
  13. 2FA can also be compromised, that's what we have seen all the time. You can check various hack news and will found that most people was using highest security but still they are being hacked. The problem is with web wallet, if any kind of flaws can be found, hacker will be able to break the system and hack users fund.
  14. This sounds funny, investors barely sell at loss, they always wait for having some profit. The initial drop comes from either bounty hunter or team manipulates or dumps their coin.
  15. Check their bitcointalk profile, they are tagged because a lot of scam issue have not been resolved yet. I think they are scamming people selectively. They have another exchange site as well, can't remember at the moment. You can find it on their bitcointalk ann thread.
  16. That's true, recently I was checking VITA and seems like it was a good one, thinking of investing into it but some days ago they declare due to less interest, they have stopped the ICO and will send the investment back to the owner. I think people don't trust any ICO anymore because of the scammy nature of most ICO, moreover, people are now looking for new ATH, they don't want to move their fund from BTC.
  17. So, I have not seen that so far. That would be a good edition. Don't forget to check the website and be sure that it's electrum.org, there are a lot of electrum phishing site which will get you downloaded fake app and steal your BTC.
  18. Better you use Electrum, available in mobile version as well. Electrum wallet is more friendly with all the features available and you don't need to download the whole blockchain even.
  19. That's also good then, does their estimanation works? I mean do their time is correct? I never have used it and don't have enough knoeledge on it.
  20. If I'm correct, if you click on customized fee in Electrum, you will able to see after how much block your transaction will be included in a block. That's an approx estimate and it works for me all the time. Anyway, it's better to check and select the fee.
  21. That's sad to hear. I wish everything get fixed soon. By the way, have you released the wallet? Github link? And what about mining with CPU? How much effective will it be? I have seen Epic Cash has used an algorithm namely RandomX which favor the CPU mining.
  22. It depends, you can check how much satoshi per byte you have to pay for a faster transaction. When a lot of transaction goes on, you have to pay a lot while rest of thehe time, 1 satoshi per byte can get the transaction completed within 1/2 hours. Make sure when fee is low, you have consolidated all the input into one, thus way, you can avoid higher fee later. If your transaction has a lot of input, the fee will be higher by default. For each input, your transaction size will increase by 180 bytes. In a busy network, if you choose a transaction which has 5 inputs, and you choose 50 sat per byte, you have to pay 45000 satoshi fee while if you consolidate the input into one when network is not much busy, with 1 satoshi per byte, the fee is 180 satoshi, and later with 50 satoshi per byte, since your input is one, you will require only 9000 satoshi. There's some additional fee for output as well.
  23. Hey, how much were you able to sell on the launch, you were talking about it's going too Wednesday. I can't see much update on that here. Any new update made? Anyway, I was interested but didn't go for purchase. I think you had a good sale.
  24. 25. I agree what you said, the limitation is effective for the members who are copy/pasting shit here. Eventually they are getting banned. But what about the other members who are trying to build the forum, getting engaged with discussion, well, 1 BTC is a motivation certainly. But you must know that if 1 BTC is the target only, he or others or me wouldn't must spend hours of time than reporting. These days I'm not posting much but I have reported a lot. I'm sure everyone is doing that, not sure about newbie but certainly the older members are spending more hours in reporting than posting. Hope this makes sense. ------- Edit I have no problem with not receiving the payment, it's 30000 sats only. I have made less posts even, yesterday and the previous day. We all know that most persons here are for getting 30000 per day, they know that it's impossible now to get into the top list. So, what will be there reaction? I have seen someone was complaining about that. If someone don't deserve, then it's okay. I was trying to get out where the problem is, so that whoever don't receive payment can learn what the reason is. Hope you got me. @epidemia
