What is hard fork?

a hard fork is basically another crypto that is based on an original crypto, thereby it splits the network into two. For example the best one that i can think of off the top of my head it bitcoin and bitcoin cash. As you can see the name is very similar between the two showing the fork in the currency. The name is the easiest way to identify hard forks.

The main purpose of hard fork to create one more coin in result of it. Just like when hard fork done when btc hard fork created new coins is bitcoin cash. So at that bitcoin cash are given in free of cost so many people enjoyed free bitcoin cash at the time of hard fork.

Well, my dear, you mean the result of Hard Fork is to create two different currencies, but the main reason for Hard Fork is the presence of problems in the coin and the difference of developers on how to solve problems, which leads to their separation from each other. As happened in Bitcoin, the main dispute was between the developers over the block size, so the Bitcoin Cash team split from the first team and Bitcoin Cash appeared.

A hard fork, based on the members' comments, is a second currency of the main one. Like Bitcoin Cash, this is a hard fork for Bitcoin the original coin.

You are right, and as bitcoin sv is the hard fork of bitcoin cash, but this hard fork you talked about is the one that does not result to generation of another coin entirely unlike litecoin which is also a hard fork of bitcoin that resulted into generation of another coin.

In addition to that, there might be a secondary cryptocurrency to Bitcoin just like Bitcoin Cash. It depends on the halving I think.
