Good rule. Still would someone tell me where the bottom is for shopping? How many times have I thought of this bottom as after a while I was getting more and more bottom. From my own experience I can say that you need to buy not a large part. If you just got a small profit it is better to sell. If it fell below then a little more to buy. It's hard to make money in this market right now.

Well some one really need to have a set of rules to follow without using emotions. I have lost a lot because I was using emotion back in the days when I lost over 80% of my btc.

If I were to set a stop loss at 10% lose then I could have this 10% lost but now I have over 99% lose.

yes you can buy step by step, if you buy with all the money you have at once you may lose a lot, but you can keep averaging the price with buying in every fall

Stop loss is a relatively new feature on the exchanges. A year or two ago, I don't remember exchanges where I could trade at a stop loss. It would really help many not to waste a lot of money and it is convenient because you do not need to constantly monitor the trade you are trading

I was with Poloniex, bitfinex, bittrex that time and all of them had stop loss feature. It was me so dumb that I did not use that. I even seen in youtube how useful it is but I as greedy and thought that price will recover after all. 

I can not blame anyone but me and I accept it.

Yes there were exchanges at that time when they did not have this features but now everyone have this.

This is a prolonged and severe market downturn, many of which have cooled down and made them rethink their trading strategy. I also have losses and many of my mistakes I have already realized. I started buying altcoins very soon, hoping for a new pump. Do you still trade in bittrex? Did you have any problems with this exchange?

I think you really did not hear my story, I have lost 80% of my BTC holding at that time (late2017 to early 2018). I was too greedy too buy the ICOs and buying altcoins to try trading of course. The goal was to accumulate my btc. 

But since I really did not have much knowledge and the bull market got the whole industry rest is easy to calculate. I have lost value of this coin almost to zero if not real zero. 

And since then I am not into trading and obviously not into those exchanges too.

I am more in Binance and Kucoin these days. I use them when I need to exchange some coins. The last time I used them to buy some NEO and ETH which I bought few months ago.

Anyway, when I used those exchanges I can not remember any problem I had with them. I guess they were okay for me.

Best strategy for Cryptocurrency trading is buy from low and sell at high. crypto market has highly volatile market so there is equal chance for profit and loss. If one has good strategy then he earn good profit form crypto trading.

psychology will have big influence for investor and trader, because if someone feels that they have enough and are satisfied with the current price, then they will sell it, and if the price drops drastically, people panic, they will also sell assets. panic is an adaptation to get used to being more calm with something, so there is nothing wrong with that I guess.

200k is a bit too much I think. We can't exactly guess the next ATH but the TA's I've seen usually suggests that the next ATH will be around $100k. $200k will probably happen in the next bullrun in 2024 after we reach $100k in 2020. McAfee even predicted ñ $1m before 2022 but that's very very unlikely imo.

I guess people have right to their own opinion but like you said, I think some times we over reach and me personally will not continue to hold my coins year in year even when there's a point for me to have sold and buy back. Assuming having 1btc and selling for 20k back in 2017 and was able to buy back by December 2018 @ 3k+ how many would you be holding now as compared to the person that's holding that 1btc till they see 200k? I will always sell at any favourable price and buy back at a lower price later.

That makes sense too to some degree but again, it doesn't go down after you sell, you will be left with useless FIAT money. I wonder how many people really managed to sell their coins from $18k+. It is probably not many. When the bull run was happening in 2017 many people hoped for even higher prices than $20k.

$200k or even $100k seems too high in my opinion but $50k is very possible after the next halving. We really need a run like 2017 and if that happens we will see this forum and the other forum again will be flooded with users LOL
